Great passing and vision. Those have always been his trademark skills. Now he’s more of a box to box midfielder in most cases but he is a natural CAM.

At one time he was by far our best CM/CAM…..his career has gone downhill since 2015-16 though when he was at his best. Still a good player IMO but not nearly as good as before.

^ he is not! He only has 1 yellow card since serving his suspension in the first game vs Syria.

Rafaei has been irrelevant for some years now and wasn't even a regular squad player under CQ, not sure how he will help us, seems like a very random call-up. And Rezaei, seriously? Guy hasn't scored a goal for Leuven while Zahedi is banging in goals left and right for Zorya, very questionable calls here.

Loool I was in the gym when Kiarash texted me about this circus, almost dropped a dumbell on my feet.. Is this coach aware of the degree he is gonna get grilled by the media now? Who the F does he think he is? Coaching some random croatian teams and then dropping one of the best forwards in our history? He better be ready with some explanation if he wanna keep his job. See us loose to and get humiliated by these arabs now, oh boy the FIRE he's gonna receive after that, hal mikonam badjoori.

Can't believe this joke, like F'ing REZAEI in favor of a guy who's banging fire for a prestigious club and making a statement for himself in a waaaay better league?!

The dropping of Taremi is very ridiculous.. I thought IFF had set up a meeting between them to sort it all out.
As otherrs has mentioned in other threads, what Taremi said was nothing hurtful for TM or insulting to the coach, and isnt comparable to lets say the Rahmati case..

im very dissapointed and he better be called up for the next camp.. very very poor decicion by Skocic and a big sign of a amateur coach to not sort this minor thing out with a conversation, for the best of TMs sake..

You are going to enjoy seeing us lose to Lebanon and Syria??? What?!?!? If he gets sacked, who do you think IFF is going to get replace him with?

Some people here think some world class will come to coach Iran and succeed there while knowing nothing about our football, culture and asian football specificities and not being paid.

Also the other alternatives will have their BS players selection we will get mad. Even the big CQ invited some BS IPL players or this washed up (to stay polite) shojaei
