Great passing and vision. Those have always been his trademark skills. Now he’s more of a box to box midfielder in most cases but he is a natural CAM.

At one time he was by far our best CM/CAM…..his career has gone downhill since 2015-16 though when he was at his best. Still a good player IMO but not nearly as good as before.

Rafaei has been irrelevant for some years now and wasn't even a regular squad player under CQ, not sure how he will help us, seems like a very random call-up. And Rezaei, seriously? The dropping of Taremi is very ridiculous.. I thought IFF had set up a meeting between them to sort it all out.
As otherrs has mentioned in other threads, what Taremi said was nothing hurtful for TM or insulting to the coach, and isnt comparable to lets say the Rahmati case..

Some people here think some world class will come to coach Iran and succeed there while knowing nothing about our football, culture and asian football specificities and not being paid.
