This whole we called Mehdi and he didn't answer / I would never not answer the call story is BS on both sides.

It's 2021 if they wanted to have a chat there there is text, telegram, Instagram, twitter, email, certified mail, fax, carrier pigeon... If there is a will there is a way.

Both sides are in the wrong and acting up unprofessionally. hopefully they can ashti and we can get back to the business of TM.

Rumors say that after the Korea game, Skocic told Taremi to work more on his scoring skills and Taremi got mad and slapped him in the stomach and said "OK if you promise to work on your fat, I will do what you want." This explains everything. What do you guys think? :-) if you think this is a good rumor that would make some bang, let me know so I can publish it on our front page.

Joking aside, sometimes for whatever reasons, we might not have certain players for one or two games but our whole team will always be motivated and this is what professional football is all about. Do the job when it depends on you. If we can't take care of Lebanon, then we need to get more stronger and one player should never be our only hope as Daei's time is long past now and we need to have a good team instead of a few good players.

the more i think about it, and in watching azizi's interview, something else comes to mind...i don't think we can blame taremi or skocic as much as we can blame the ahmagh, incompetent clowns running IFF. where was the leadership to diffuse this non-issue before it became a cancer?

I don't know if it's standard for TM players to stay in touch with the coaching staff via whatapp, phone calls etc. but if IFF's only gameplan to resolve this was to ask Skocic to call Mehdi, or ask Bagheri to drop a WhatsApp message to Mehdi's iphone, that's some serious amateur hour stuff. the move is go through formal channels (Porto, his agent, etc). who knows the dynamics and details...i'm speculating but my point stands - this could have all been avoided with better leadership.

He's right that TM should be able to beat Lebanon and Syria without Taremi or Azmoun, but simultaneously he should not underestimate the teams. Their results have all been close and they will always give us a hard time. Someone like Azizi should know this better than alot of people.

Skocic went on croatian television and said something to the effect of 'Iranian players not following tactics or not being tactically adept' to which Taremi replied on twitter saying he disagrees with him. Some stupid shit like that.
