It was a nasty foul that resulted in a red card of the goalie who caused a serious concussion. Alizadeh was out for a few minutes. It was scary. Actually there should have been two red cards, one for the player who pushed her from behind and then one for the goalie who hit Alizadeh's head with her knee. I am glad she is out of the hospital yet she will not be able to play on Saturday based on the concussion protocols. It was at one hour and 42 minutes into the full match below. It's hard to watch. I would call for multi-game suspension of the keeper. Alizadeh could have died.

There were no volunteer to host for the East but Jordan was for the West

They lost 1:2 and finished 2nd.

Still an impressive tournament, considering that this was basically an away game. Winning against the Indian champions is a good morale booster, since our NT is going to play vs India in the AC. Also, the fact that they won against the Uzbek champions shows that our women's football has closed the gap vs them. Not so long ago, Iran would lose to them by a couple of goals.
