    AFC Women's Club Championship

Shahrdari Sirjan is currently in Amman competing in the group stage. They defeated Uzbekistan Bonyadkar 2-1 this last Sunday November 7 and will be facing India's SREE GOKULAM KERALA FC tomorrow at 9:00 AM EST (NY). They are tied at the head of the table with Jordan's Amman club who also defeated the Indian team on Sunday with the same score. Shahrdari Sirjan are the current champions of women's league in Iran. Sirjan is a city in Kerman and is also home to Gol Gohar on the men's side.

Their last match will be on Saturday November 13 vs Amman Club. Our men's TM will be in Amman at that time preparing for the Syria Match on November 16. It will great if our TM is allowed to go to the stadium and support Shahrdari Sirjan.

    Go Shahrdari Sirjan!

^^^ More power to them. I hope Men's TM comes out very strong in support of our ladies team.

But, it pisses me off every time I see these courageous women having to observe the dress code of desert dwellers of another country from 1500 years ago. Just pisses me off

I made a mistake. The matches are in Aqaba, Jordan, not Amman. It's a 4.5 hour drive from Amman. Unfortunately our TM won't be able to cheer them on.

      Go Shahrdari Sirjan!

Shahrdari scored 1-0 Nice free kick.

Looks like the Indian team got a red card just before.

Goal scored by #7 Afsaneh Chatrnoor, one of the best players. She did a Kanaanizadegan yazleh dance during her celebration. Good for her. Indian team went down to 10 players after their goalie was red carded after a foul which resulted in the goal scoring free kick. Our women are controlling the now and could score more. They should be ware of counters.

            Go Shahrdari Sirjan!

AFC game summary. https://www.the-afc.com/en/club/afc_...kerala_fc.html . Shahrdari Sirjan is currently ahead of the table with six points. Amman Club vs FC Bonyadkar match is on now and the score is 0-0 at halftime. Our women are in a good position to win the group when they face Amman Club on Saturday. From what I have seen, that will be their toughest match.

                      Go Shahrdari Sirjan!

If they end up 1st, they would win the whole thing since only 4 teams are participating in this tournament.
Regardless, it would be a huge confidence booster for our NT as well

Bonyadkar defeated Amman Club 1-0. Shahrdari Sirjan is on top 3 points clear of Amman Club. They need a tie on Saturday to win the whole thing.

Actually there should have been two red cards, one for the player who pushed her from behind and then one for the goalie who hit Alizadeh's head with her knee. I am glad she is out of the hospital yet she will not be able to play on Saturday based on the concussion protocols. It was at one hour and 42 minutes into the full match below. It's hard to watch. I would call for multi-game suspension of the keeper. Alizadeh could have died.

                              Go Alizadeh!
