I’m a big CQ fan, and he is a really good coach, but this is his ugly side. Faghani literally overturned the PK decision, how can he say it psychologically damaged his team? To me it shows he fails to prepare his team mentally to overcome tough situations and referee decisions. I wish he had some more self reflection.

I assume you are kidding eerooni jaan. Many of us including yours truly live abroad and will be Eroonee for ever He moved to Australia for his daughter's education. He still refs some PGL matches and is an advisor to IFF including to the IFF VAR Working Group.

Lol true, at that level though, you can't take shit. He got to where he is because of his confidence and no bullshit attitude. I think he is one of the most confident referees I have seen. I referee at the college level in the US and try to model my officiating after him.

I think he did a great job calling the mexico vs germany as well as france vs argentina. I'd say it's straight up robbery if he's not reffing the world cup!
