Regarding Sepahan's performance yes, but Omid is truly exposed this whole tournament so far. Poor positioning on D, easily beat, and bad decisions attacking.
It's just that today was exceptionally bad by him.

The truth hurts doesn’t it …. It isn’t Spamming when you stating something so obvious as how can the national team coach of a country , Put someone like Omid noorfkhan who isn’t even the best player in his team , who get exposed in every single game , by very very low quality teams as one of his starting 11 players …. That is the real spam ….

I don’t care about the criticisms of some fringe TM player’s ACL performance. I’m simply asking that users put more thought into each post and contribute something of substance rather than stream of consciousness spam posting.

Never been a Noorafkan fan. Another of the Esteghlal hype boys.

It going to be a very bad World Cup for us man we probably going to lose every game , and coincide 2 to 3 goals and be an embarrassment, just let ppl have their moments now so at least it won’t be a shocking experience in that World Cup

a_m jan, there is no truth in soccer. Just opinions.

I would love to hear who you have in mind to replace Noorafkan in TM. It would be nice to see a list of alternatives to Noorafkan, and what is each player's weaknesses and strengths. And hopefully, you have formed these opinions based on watching at least 10 complete games by each player and not based on a high light reel, or one really good game or one bad game... That way, you can be certain about each player's weaknesses and strengths like positioning, physical strength, football IQ, technical abilities, etc, etc...

Once you do that, I think people will value you questioning TM coach's selection a lot more.

For me, I don't follow the PGPL closely so I would not comment about domestic players I don't know. That leaves Noorafkan, Milad Mohammadi, Naderi, Hajsafi, and Amiri.

CQ used Mohammadi most of the time. To me, he is by far the best defender. Positioning, marking, tackling, speed and overall knowledge of how to defend is clearly better than all the rest. His problem is the offensive side of the equation and technical abilities . Amongst these five players, he would be my choice to start against England. Noorafkan and Naderi have very similar style of play and I find both to be better wingbacks than left backs. Their offensive side is stronger than their defensive side. Naderi seems a little more physical and Noorafkan is a more skilled player with better vision and better passing. But overall, the two seem very close and similar and neither one seem to have crazy pace. Hajsafi is an ok at defending, ok offensively, ok technically but not excellent at anything. Just an experienced utility player who is getting old... Last is Amiri, that I have only seen playing LB only once and he did alright there but one game is not enough to really comment.

If we had Roberto Carlos, Andy Robertson or Marcelo, than I too would be shocked if the coach played Noorafkan. But given our choices at LB, I can't allow myself to complain about whoever Skocic selects. To be honest, I would categorize all five to be at roughly the same level, with Mohammadi having different characteristics than the other four.

I understand were you are coming from and I respect your opinion, but in Iran 🇮🇷 the national team especially now has become way too political, like every time we have a Weak personality in charge like skocic or Branko who cares about money more than the actual team, all these side drama issue start to appear , with someone like CQ he threw all that garbage out of the time so it was strictly football
                            ,
like right now the perspolis are controlling the team , so hardly any esteghlal players allowed to be there ,,
Raham rezanian , rouzbeh chesmi , Saleh Hardani, Aref Gholami, Jafar Salmani, all these player are way better than Omid noorfkhan…… and not a single one of them is a starter so it shows you we have depth , but the correct players are not being invited to the team
Milad Mohammadi is head and shoulder ahead of noorfkhan I have no clue why skocic wants to play him …
Only idea is the dalal’s are telling him who to play so some team in Arabic counties buys the players so they give skocic a cut ,,,,
Here what really happening in Iran ; w
See bro what is happening is that in Iran we are signing a contract with these foreign players and coaches they do this on purpose so example look what happen with the goalkeeper RadoSavic for Perspolis they signed a $950,000 contract with him but verbally they told him hey we signed this contract but we will give you $200,000 and we will take the $700,000 for ourselves this is what they do with all the foreign Croatian players and coaches they did this with bronco where they tell the players we we will sign $1 million contract with you but we will only give you two or $300,000 which the Croatian players or coaches always agree to and we will take the $700-$800,000 for ourselves which is a scheme because legally the Croatian players or coaches can always go to FIFA and say hey Look I never got paid in full for my contract and this is what has been happening to our Federation our clubs perspolis and esteghlal and the whole Wilmot situation was the same as well
Branko did that too , Croatian coaches would do these kinds things go look it up
Zoran Mamic and his brother Zdravko, a former Dinamo Zagreb executive director, were charged with embezzling the equivalent of $18 million from the sale of Dinamo Zagreb players to foreign clubs, and for tax evasion worth $2 million
                            .
Croatian federation for the greater good of their football got ride of these ppl and cleaned up their football .. now we dealing with them in Iran ..

I liked how skocic reverse some of his idiotic decisions during his first months (ghoddos benched, wrong line up, Ghaedi finally kicked out) but recently he became so damn stubborn with nurafkan, sarlak and nour

Don't underestimate Skocic. He may be testing players to see who is capable and who is not. Better now than to find out in WC. He could also then take this back to the PP and SS fans and say look your guys didn't cut starting lineup back off. His approach is very nonconfrontational and brings a bit of calm to his team. At least I'm hoping this is what is going on based on what we have seen thus far.
