I think you guys are not reading my post. I am saying he was a bad player. He could have been zidane for all I know, but he isnt in shape right now probably after years of injury.

I remember he said the same thing about Stramaccioni in the 2019 Summer Iranian Transfer thread about how he wasn't a great manager at all, yet somehow became an Esteghlal favorite and was even up for consideration by people to be TM's manager.

He is only good enough for La Liga, not the mighty Asian Champions League! /s

Same Strama who left the club over money, got propped up by his dallal buddies online, and social media fans ate it up like a fat kid eats cake. Even Taghavi (former Terkator coach, esteghlal and TM player, and Hat Trick analyst) said as much.
He is now failing with more money and options again, in Qatar.

One of the most overrated coaches in Iran ever.

            Hoorad jan,
Do you seriously not get what I said about form?
He was better than our league a few years ago for sure. I don't think he has the ability he used to have anymore.

Pourghaz got a red card - their experienced defender …

                  BTW, Al-Taawoun are a bottom-dwelling Saudi club ...

Omid Noorafkan is a terrible, terrible player. He looks out of place on every play. This is against Asian teams ...

The fact this guy could be our starting left-back at the world cup should make everyone worried.

Man, insane how many good managers there are in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. One of their lower team has a manager of his quality.

Imagine if Iran was a normal country, how much our football would blossom. I swear we'd be top 10 in the world.

when you go down to 10 men so early, it is deflating. its pretty much over. I have. argued for years they should change red card rule, it is ancient. should be like a 30 minute power play, and you have to use 2 subs to replace the player following the 30 minutes. increase the suspension (3 game minimum) and add a fine for players red carded so there are consequences. imagine if in NFL they forced players to play 1 man down when someone is ejected lol
