Coaches sometime have unreasonably soft spot for players who can play in multiple position. Nourafkan is one, Hajsafi was another.

I disagree with you neither of these players can play multiple positions well ,maybe at some point in time , hajsafi could have but not now, I give hajasfi credit he has shined in defense but his offense skills are massively lacking

Nourafkan no matter how you look at him he isn’t good anyway or anywhere , he doesn’t have the technical ability to be offensive, he doesn’t have the psychical abilities to be defensive he just a very very maybe even below average player in the IPL with some massive connections …..

Foolad won the league in 2013 under faraki SO WHAT?
Again mentioning hazfi cup proves my point. They could not beat any of the decent teams they got in hazfi cup (in full 90 or 120 minutes), when they won it. And funnily enough this year in Hazfi cup they could not beat mes kerman and they lost in penalties. And this is exactly what I'm talking about when i say i'm not fan of these kind of tactics.
playing fully deffensively against some really strong teams is fine, however playing deffensively against some weak ass teams like Al-Gharafah or Al shabab is just not my cup of tea. I don't condone that kind of game plan . If javad nekounam is clever enough, he should adopt and play some modern football.
CQ only did it to prepare us for WC .
unfortunately only thing matter is winning
        and nothing else.
denezili played the most attractive futball of last 30 years
        but no cup adios amigo.
parviz mazloumi was awesome in ss team played the best soccer since 1990 season but couldnt win cup
        adios amigo.
you getting my point javad style all it dose it gets results
and he should be judge base on that. last year acl he couldn't finish games and he made couple of bad subs that cost him the game...i saw a mature jn and he finished first in a group that no ksa team was there still finished first which is not easy to do in acl.
jn want ss job which i hope ss collapse last 6 matches
and they still keep majidi for next year.
javad nekunam or amir galenoie are my choices over skocic if not wc than ac for sure. we shall see

Sepehan got crushed. It reminded me of Esteghlal 1-6 Al Ain.

I hope Birdman Navidkia spent more time with his birds he love so much.

It is harsh to call him kaftarbaz. He is a gentleman, he might have some problems at player selection or tactics but he was a good technical player which gives him good insight to be a good manager. He has the potential. Few bad results doesn't change the fact, he is young and talented as a manager

I do not see how anyone can blame Navidkia for this loss. It was a mix of not being lucky and Sepahan players missing 2 on 1s. They missed too many easy chances. His tactics and player selection got them many chances to win the game the players just failed to make it count.

So Its between Al Duhail and Al Hilal. One of them will win the west ACL.
My bet is on al duhail.

                        I wrote "birdman"

                        Definition of birdman

1: a person who deals with birds

                        "

How you calling him a "bird man" when he has created a nice tactical offensive team. I counted atleast 20 great scoring chances missed by sepahan players in just 4 games (2 al duhail , Al duhail and 2 al taawon).

He has created a goal scoring team that creates chances left and right from tactics and not bekesh ziresh.

The problem is the players in the squad and sepahan's financial problems. For example the game against al duhail (yesterday). Noorafkan missed two 1on1 chances and the first goal they conceded he was at fault. Danial esmaeili far missed 1 on 1 chance and again he was at fault for one of the goals.

He needs to get rid of these players ASAP and trust me this team will win games left and right.

Moharram is a bird-lover . He has a passion for birds nothing to do with football and tactics.

I don't know how this has become a negative, rather than an overwhelming positive, for some Iranian fans - including a few quite vocal ones on this forum....

What disappoints people about Nekounam mostly is that he has a massive academy at his disposal but insists on much older players.
