Schick is the lone man up front with Sardar playing behind him. Playing in a floater role, which gives him freedom to find spaces to make runs.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I think he picked up an injury this match. Was visibly sluggish despite only playing 25 minutes only, and after match when down grabbing his right knee or thigh
Great 25+ minutes for Sardar. He was involved in so many attacking plays and much more active than Schick who is coming off injury and visibly is not there yet. Sardar's teammates recognize his value and pass to him. Good win for Leverkusen.

sardar lied down as soon as whistle went, gassed out, despite playing only half an hour. there is no chance he will be 100% until atleast in 3-4 weeks, at best but still cant see it by then either. he looks heavy and has lost his speed and his lungs.. His touch was good today

I didn't see that at all - Sardar was running hard and very active!

The manager even said a few weeks back, we will see the real Sardar when the new season starts.
Bundesliga is levels above the RPL.

I watched 10 minutes. He was playing as a CM basically. Got no healthy passes. I know diaby is talented but since Azmoun has joined he’s been very poor.
