I am honestly sick and tired of his stupid childish attitude. I saw huge potential in him more than any other forwards including Taremi but he just proved everyone that you need to be full package to have elite career(talent, attitude, work ethic, etc)
First, shut your fcking mouth and play your game. You are not the coach to decide who should be invited. Ramin Rezaeian is a done case in TM but is non of your fcking business to comment who should or should not be in TM.
He even on national TV admitted he is KOON GOSHAAD.
'' Mani ke aslan raah nemiram bazi Bahrain khodamo jer dadam.''
He is another Ali karimi at best.
Wasted 8 years in some 2nd rated league and haven't proved shit yet in top league
Focus on your fcking game, before is too late... you are 27 and not a kid anymore...
People like him will never grow up. Did Azizi, Ali Karimi grow up!? BIG NO.
^ Don't appreciate the profanity but I have to say that I agree with the content of the message if not the form. Sardar joined the camp after Leverkusen's established stars (hopefully he had the HC's approval) and he needs to focus on his conditioning and game. He needs to apologize for both the tweet and the interview and stay off radar when it comes to TM and Iran tabloid press for now.
With his fellow Persian-speaking brother, Nadiem Amiri.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
Sardar has actually done quite well during his short time so far at Leverkusen.
His finishing was the only poor part of his game - and only for 1-2 matches, and after coming back from various long illnesses and injury - so it was completely normal
Despite that, his play has been very good and he's improved over the matches and you can clearly see they already see him as a starter and they rely on him heavily to build up and score goals as well.
His career has actually been very impressive and he's made the right moves for himself and his career if you ask me, even if we all wish he was in Europe earlier.
He's also been exceptional for TM.
Some tweets may have not been the best idea but I doubt he's ever intending on hurting the team morale and he clearly cares about the success of the team. - Just think we can be a little less harsh on him.
We wouldnt even be at WC if not for Sardar. Classic Iranian mentality is trash and belittle your best. Same people who said he will never leave russia, only plays for Ruble, etc. We have heard it all before.
Even giving interview in this situation is questionable, let alone to a weasel like Misaghi. For that TM (which coach clearly has zero authority or ownership over) should vet every interview like in previous years to avoid emotional players getting in front of camera in turbulent time.
Content of interview was hardly shocking. Everybody and grandma from watching 30 mins of TM game under skocic can decipher lack of tactics. Anybody who follows Ramin Rezaeian in past 4 years knows the guy is a clown and far past any respectable level of football. Sardar didn't have to openly take a shit on him but clearly his social media antics were bothering a lot of current TM players.
We need somebody to take ownership over TM. We have had star players Azmoun and Taremi both making unfortunate/unnecessary comments at poor times during Skocic reign. It is no longer a case of "oh he is stupid kid he should grow up".
These are our best players who managed to stay very disciplined for 8 years in previous TM regime. They sense something is wrong and is the case with PLAYERS (Whose only focus should be PLAYING) they are unable to figure out on the fly how to properly address the issues they are seeing, how to properly explain concerns in media setting without creating hashieh. Thats why they are football PLAYERS and not politicians or media consultants. In what other national team in the world do you see players so regularly giving interview, twitter statement, IG story. Something is wrong behind the scenes, badly, and its not the players who conduct themselves with little to no drama in top european sides for years.
They need proper coach that will take these responsibilities off of them and allow them to just play football again, not feel forced to go on misaghi stupid show and explain TM situation.
In the meantime shitting on the best players makes little sense. Without Azmoun, without Taremi, there is no TM. They are playing at high level in europe and TM records speak for themselves. All indications we have from Leverkusen azmoun is working very hard and despite not being in best shape at end of last season, was still trusted by coach for important minutes and made positive contributions. Leverkusen is no joke, 3rd best team in Germany and on paper looks like they can certainly make one jump higher this season. Porto is no joke, regular in latter rounds of CL, as we see most of their starters are immediately going to best teams in the world and having huge impacts. Considering Taremi is the most crucial player for that same Porto team, that tells you all you need to know about his level.
But sure, Azmoun is the problem, Taremi is the problem, what garbage childish players. Nevermind that only international relevance we have is because of these 2, nevermind that they walk into most national teams in the top 20, We need more players like nourollahi !!

Agree with most of this post. But this isn't on Skocic. How can he take ownership of a team he keeps being undermined at every level? I mean he doesn't even know if he is the coach. He handled the Taremi situation well IMO given the circumstances. But no coach would agree to operate or exert authority under these conditions. Iff cut him at the knees then robbed him while down of any TM authority.

Name one coach that has qualified a team for WC and then quits. Not get fired, but quits.... You can't blame him for wanting to coach at WC after saving our behind and that smooth qualification, can you? He doesn't strike me as a quitter either.
Career wise, he is taking a big risk by not quitting. Had he said that he is not getting enough support and quit, he would look golden after his record with TM and many Arab/Chinese teams would have hired him for very high wages. By staying, he is gambling on Iran's results in WC. If good, then he looks even better, but if not impressive, then people won't care about how easily we qualified. He is certainly very confident in his abilities to guide us.

I dont give a damn how many goal he scores if he keep having this stupid mentality.
With such interviews he creates more division inside the team which is already divided.
He need to grow up.

You ask to "name one coach"
Recent years have had Ange Postecoglou who quit due to stress after qualifying.
But there is a certain coach who qualified a team to the 2002 world cup with a good record (much better than the coaches before and after him) and resigned two months before the world cup because his 10-year long term development plan was rejected by the FA.
He quit, he didn't get fired.
This was the last time this country qualified for the world cup.

This is what I worry about. The confidence is not based on any substantial prior experience/achievement. Beating Pot 3/4 AFC teams doesn't translate to WC success. I much rather have a coach that is more cautious, than an over-confident coach who thinks he's going to beat England cause his mom an dad gave birth to him in Croatia.
