Last player PFDC doubted was Luis Diaz. He walked into Liverpool and became fixed without speaking a word of English.

With all respect. But buddy he was great from min 1 he entered
he is expected to play 8-10 role in this team currently and for that position the Intensity of his play and his movements off the ball leaves much to be desired still..!!
again...he aint the sole striker in this team ....!!
at higher levels of competition, he can't still be caught jogging about the MF half-assishly (as i caught him doing again today on some occasions ) waiting for ball to fall at his feet by some lucky bounce..!! he Needs to be Moving around the MF MUCH MORE BRISKLY thus making himself a much clearer Passing Target .... not lumber about the MF and every once in a while make Late dash to make a defensive/offensive play...!! I probably woulda been satisfied enough with his today's overall performance if he was a starter, but FFS as a some 30min 2nd half supposed Impact sub much more energetic debut was to be expected of him in that role..!!
for me he still isnt hardworking and energetic enough of a footballer to play the current playing role expected of him currently in Bayer..!! but his superior quality in limited possession as compared to some of his attacking teammates still makes him a much safer Starter option than not..! especially vs weaker tokhmy opponents..... but vs formidable opponents he has to step up his workrate and movements about the mf to be considered starter material for Soanne dude..!!

ps
besides being not near sharp enough in the box today ... Schick was also very much unlucky too..!! afforded such space and chances again this season 9-10 chance he will bury those chances and i certainly wouldnt count him out scoring a bunch of goals again this season..!! keeper got very lucky getting a body/foot to at least 2 of those woulda been tap-ins any other day..!

He had 3 options
1) go towards the ball and clear it away with a kick out of bounds (best option)
2) head the ball away when it got close
3) catch the ball outside the line (worst choice)
Unfortunately he went with the worst choice. I don’t blame him too much though since it’s a tough decision in a split second with an attacker lurking. A high end keeper would’ve likely cleared that away though

I dont think the links are super credible. Anyways, not sure if arsenal will prioritize winger over CM signing to replace xhaka/cover for partey. Diaby plays primarily from the right and he won't displace saka, not sure how comfortable he is on the left.
If he did go however there could be some positives in that. Currently seaone is making a mess of fitting all his attacking weapons in one team. His approach of azmoun at 10, hlozek at 10 and wide, isnt working and the team totally lacks balance defensively and proper spacing offensively.
If diaby leaves, yes they lose a critical player but with hlozek and sardar they still have substantial firepower that isnt being used right, and maybe with that cash they could complete the mudryk deal they have been eyeing all summer.
in a 352 type of formation you would think they would be more balanced on defensive end.
IMO, regardless of what happens with diaby, mudryk they should put all their attention into getting a proper LB/LWB. That bakker guy looks as clueless as milad and thats probably the biggest insult somebody in his position could receive right now.
Somebody with serious defensive skills and actually proficient in possession would help them a lot there.
------------------Idiot gk----------
-----idiot cb1----idiot cb2-----Hincapie (as a CB he is a talent)
Frimpong---Andrich--Demirbay/Palacios---Bakker (RIP)
----------------Mudryk/Wirtz--------
--------Azmoun--------------Schick

Leverkusen will be even worse now.
The fat do$h from his sale though could provide the necessary funds needed to address the teams more important & more severe shortcomings in LWB, CD/CM/CDM..!

ARJ thread is legendary thread of the decade, should be printed out and sold as a book. 55000 pages for 10 appearances 220 minutes and (thank god) an overhead kick goal vs chelsea. Most frustrating thread ever.
Hope this one turns our good. Havnt followed dortmund this year after the unbalanced and frustrating team display last year, seams its the same problem reading rhe latest posts.
Hopefully they get Azmoun in top form for wc......

…. the strengths of Sardar Azmoun: Of course, we don't want to leave our power up front on the bench but we always have to look at the challenges presented by our opponents. In an away game in Dortmund, the first thing is to close down space, and at home against Augsburg we primarily think about attacking moves. But Sardar is an experienced player who is good at assessing the season ahead of us. Last season he was possibly lacking something in finishing due to his physical level but we saw the qualities he has in the second half of the game against BVB and how he can be effective in well structured positional play. He has a presence in the box, is good in the air and good at making runs. He is also very much capable of bringing Patrik (Schick ed.) into the game.
from the link posted above. Seems pretty certain sardar starts on saturday
