equalizer vastly reduces his chances of early subbing in 2nd half again..!! but Wirtz missing from squad improves those chances slightly..!!
barring few occasions bayer struggled mightily in transition game in first half, so perhaps xabi brings Sardar on as false nine to a more CM positioning to make up for that gross deficiency .... ??
these are the sorta inferior opponents that bayer need to get full points from in order climb their way to EU football table positions..!Comment

Palacios kind of jumped on his way and then blocked by defender for corner.
Anyways good win for leverkusen away from home. Still Hlozek overall play was far inferior to sardar's, with schick out injured again think azmoun will start in Hungary, a good performance and he should keep his spot for the bayern game next weekend.Comment

it all happened too quickly perhaps to over analyse it ... but a high caliber CF is expected to burry such chances ruthlessly ... rather than overthinking and hesitation leading to a big miss..! :/
unless fatigue is of high concern, i dont see him replacing Hlozek in the EU starting line up.... and yea for being late minutes sub in order to preserve the lead, his intensity and hustle factor still left more to be desired..!!
