Bizarre he was the first sub. Only offensive player who was playing respectably. First half he gave two great balls to diaby who wasted as usual. Hlozek was totally anonymous besides forcing a few shoots wide when he had no angle.
In the second half he has been clean through a couple occasions, again ignored by diaby, amiri and co.
Only thought is there could be decent chance he starts as a more orthodox 9 vs physical belgian side on thursday, given how much their play improved when he was brought on vs them.
Leverkusen have been garbage today. Amiri and demirbay in particular, hard to see how they were ever touted as talents and leverkusen dropped so much money to bring them from hoffenheim.Comment
