They can't (and won't) due to sanctions. Their daddy will just punish them.

        My dream Line-Up would be:

        --------------Abedzadeh--------------
        Rezaian--Kanaani---PAG--------MIMO
        --------------Ezzi-----------------------
        --------ARJ-----------Amiri-------------
        -------------Ghoddus-------------------
        --Sardar---------------Taremi-----------

If PAG, Rezaian and MIMO can reclaim their spot and perform like they did under CQ, i truly believe that this would be our best Line-Up. I am not a huge fan of Nourafkan, his movements are uncontrolled at times + he is not as fast as MIMO. With MiMo we are much more dynamic. Moharrami makes to many defensive errors IMO and his crosses are not as good as Rezaian's. And i think we can all agree that a fit and healthy PAG is WAY better than Shoja.
Another case of wishful thinking. What makes you think that? Can't be our inexperienced coach, the state of the federation, lack of planning and friendlies.

Uae will play for their life and we have many injuries due to covid. Uae has most expensive facilities and training camps . Yet we dont have proper jerseys. We are the under dogs

I just really don't get how Dragan can sit here and watch Shoja shit the bed almost every match and continue getting playing time???

Surely Majid will replace him soon?

SofaScore gave him a rating of 7.6.

                \

Not sure if Sko is reading Iranian media but no other TM players from current squad has praised Sko and criticized his opponent as Braveheart Shoja.

I didn't see a review of how Amiri perform in the last game. Was there any on the forum that I messed?

He did alright. One of his poorer games. Made 2 bad passes which could have ended horribly but he quickly recovered the ball. Ran like a beast as alway.

I hope so too, but Majid getting Covid really threw a wrench in plans.

Skocic did fine until now. Wilmot's was internationally experienced and well known coach and look how he did with TM. But indeed we lack planning and friendlies, but i think playing in Qatar is a "home" advantage for TM + this time we have many players who had experienced facing the best Teams in the world. That makes me optimistic.

How is the heat in Qatar in the winter? Is it comparable to Iran? But indeed, distance to Iran is very advantageous to TM players.

He also ruined a good counter attack which could've easily led to our 2nd goal.

Wilmots was a disaster who had just failed big time with Ivory Coast. He’s also the same guy who led Belgium to a disaster in Euro 2016 losing to Wales in QF.

Our key players ( especially Taremi, Azmoun and to an lesser extent Jahanbakhsh) are playing on a whole different level compared to 2019.

The ”no friendlies” issue that’s being brought up here has actually helped Skocic.
The man has no tactics( so friendlies wouldn’t matter anyway) and can blame lack of friendlies later if he doesn’t get results.
                                Esteghlal 💙💙
