I expect to se zahedi get a good 30-45 minutes here. would like to se him start with Karim, then sub in Mehdi if we need a goal, like sc has done in porto a few times lately.
want to se ghaedi play aswell, and sayyadmanesh if he gets himself to the camp..

wonder if he will play niazmand aswell?
probably not since we still ned to win for pot 2 but still it would be cool, to atleast sub him in if we are 2 goals up

Per GolBezan tweet, Beiro has tested positive for COVID and has left the camp. Fortunately, we've got Abedzadeh who is coming off an great performance.

Mohammad Reza Akhbari will likely be his replacement

^ Yes, that's correct and the Tehran time is 18:00. Here is a cool photo of Azadi, if you want to include it.

Ghermez Agha jaan or Webmaster jaan, please make this a sticky thread! Az peesh mamnoon!

              Go TM!
              Go diz!

I doubt it, but any chance Allahyar can re-join TM for this match? Would be an ideal match where he can start and get his legs under him for TM.

As long as he gets is passport back, don't see why not. Heck Mehdi arrived the morning of the match, slept until the match, and scored the winner! lol

Another good game to get continuity. ever 90 mins counts now before WC.

I would stick with mainly the same lineup as talented youngsters like Yasin, Allahyar, Hosseinzadeh are not around to get minutes. Only possible changes I would consider are Karim for Gholi on the right side, Yazdani for Shoja (this is assuming Majid + Nour are still out with covid, if they somehow came back Id like to see both in the xi for Shoja and Amiri).

                    ------------------Abedzadeh-------------

                    Moharrami----Kanani----Yazdani/Majid-----Noorafkan

                    -------------------ezatolahi-----------------
                    ------Ghoddos----------------Amiri/Nour

                    Ansarifard--------Taremi-------Jahanbakhsh

Side note: ARJ looks way better on the left than right.

As with Porto's request to have Mehdi back after Iran qualified, clubs also tried to "recover" Milad Mohammadi and Karim Ansarifard, having received the same response.

Why doesn’t Iran play the remaining games at Mashhad, Shiraz, Esfahan, Tabriz, or Khuzestan ? All have good stadiums and the infrastructure ??

Btw I saw Milad Mohammadi in the celebrations, why is he not starting? Would love to see him play in this match, he's solid and should be there in Qatar!

I tend to agree with this idea yet I think one potential problem is lack of quality camps with all facilities in one place. Markazeh Football has at least one worldclass pitch (thank you CQ!) and a world class indoor training and health sports facility in PEC (thank you CQ!) and a relatively good hotel right there and within a five minute bus drive of Azadi.

                              Go TM!
