We could have won this game 3-0 if we were more clinical. We have big issues in LB and RB -Position. Gholizadeh should be used as a joker in WC, would love to see Sayyadmanesh take his spot as a starter.

we won, had some weekneses shown that we need to work with.. rather this than 3-0 win. we need to fix the marking for the CB:s on high long passes from the sides. we gave away to many free headers from the penalty spot area.

and in extra time, baba keeep the ball in the team make them go up, then maybe pass the free player, dont do that back and forward stuff. its risky.

Golizadeh is a self centered waste of space. He needs to sit on the bench for a couple of matches to learn to pass when he had to. Tareni showed he is a better team player.

He needs to be benched as a punishment, otherwise this selfish and arrogant behavior will continue. He reminds me of TM in the early times, when we had many more of his kind on the pitch. Imagine him doing this kind of shit in the WC!!!

What furiated me more than anything was Golizadeh's selfish act at the end. He created a beautiful space for himself by the dribble, but at the end he should have passed it to Taremi. Additionally, he had another golden opportunity which went to waste. Overall, it was a below average performance by Iran, luckily we got a W.

Players play selfish & dont listen to instructions cause they know they can get away with it. With another stricter coach players wouldnt dare as there would be consequences.

Guys you are being too harsh! I agree with Philosphy king on this one, we have serious problems with those crosses. Other than that take a look at the positives:

We were down to 10 men and had like 3-4 scoring chances. Yes we didnt score on them, but that is a fitness issue, try running like a horse and then have inzaghi pin point accuracy? Its an impossible equation

We defended quite well other than those crosses.

What bothered me were Gholizadeh selfishness and a few turnovers in the midfield.

Korea-Iran in March should be a great game. Must raise our game compared to what we saw today.
Pluses: 2 games, 2 goals from Selfless Taremi. What a great player and man. He showed his true nature, when open to goal he didn’t receive the obvious pass from Gholi AND when open to goal he passed to Gholi!!

2 things i notice at end.

1) Taremi staredown of Gholi after he was a ballhog at the end. he literally didnt move and stared at Gholi like "are you serious bro?".

2) Skocic screaming at players to hold the ball, instead our players like olaghs hoofing it down and trying to score. no respect for the coach.
