At least we can all agree that Wiltits was definitely the worst.

As another member mentioned, it was probably for the best what happened with Wiltits. Had he not been the total failure he was, I think there would have been a lot less appreciation for CQ and ultimately for Skocic. It validates that the manager position is not something anyone with a pulse can do and actually requires skill and determination.

This assumption contradicts our catastrophically journey under Wilmots. Seemingly it is not just the "foundations" that CQ has left behind for our Qualification to WC 2022. After the Wilmots-Disaster we had to win all our remaining 4 games in a hostile environment in Bahrain against both Bahrain and Iraq against whom we had struggled (we never defeated Bahrain on their soil, not even under CQ!). Also in no way is TM playing the same style as under CQ. Let's just give Sko. the credit he deserves.

No, I don't. On the one hand all of our success is largely based on the foundations CQ has left and when we perform poorly Sko is to blame? Although we hadn't a great game we still create plenty of chances playing with only 10 men.

Well actually before CQ we lacked talent and great individual players. That was the Brank era with Daei, Karimi, Mahdavikia, Hashemian etc. Before CQ we lacked quality players. Than CQ slowly started to introduce new players to TM such as Gucci.
