I’d say Skocic does some studying. We have been successful against South Korea with a 4-2-3-1 system pretty much every time even up until Wilmots in which we outshot and outpossesed a SK who had beaten Australia and Colombia at that time and this was at their home turf too with their whole main line up which included Son and co along with Bento as their coach. I say we recall Rezaian back up as RB since he’s a experienced veteran who’s still in peak physical shape and plays consistently still. I’m hoping for a Ali Karimi quick recovery at Kayseri along with PAG. If those “Ifs” happen here’s how id line up.

This would be very attacking minded but at the same time many of our players would be familiar with this. As we saw with today’s match Noorafkan can even play CB,LB so I’d think as a DM with another supporting more physical DM he could do well. Especially one whom he has experienced playing with at club level as well. Ghoddos behind Azmoun could b great as he could free roam and also keep up his high press. Allayar would be our man to watch in this match. I really hope Skocic figures it out

I love that we get to face SK in SK and that both teams are qualified and fighting for first. ARJ will not be available due to reds, as will Moharrami and Mohammadi. Time to start thinking about how we line-up that defense and midfield.

Honestly Sko. could choose 8 random non-yellow carded TM-players + 3 PDCF Members and we would still win against Lebanon at Azadi... Any other move than resting all the yellow carded players against Lebanon would be unforgivable, since we have already qualified.

Saeid missed the game against Morocco because of a red card vs South Korea last WCQ.
It was the same situation as now. 2 games left and already qualified. South Korea game is always a high tension game.
