"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I could be wrong but i guess we have to wait and see tommo. I trust in skocic so lets see what he does tommo.

IF SHOJA starts at rb
it shows OUR RB position
has fallen to point of no return
and we will get punish at the wc
with moharami there.
memo to daneshmand:
ramin rezaiyan
the issue of ramin dodol video
is solved. problem is moharami and
ramin have beef from their pp days
AND OFFCOURSE moharami
is daneshmand son.
good team at the wc will pick us apart
from the right side .
I don't follow him closely at all to see how he's been doing for club but he was solid for TM and at least would be worth trying him out again considering the problems we have at RB.

Bro We could say the same thing for any other formation like 4-5-1? Or a 4-2-4 or 4-4-2.Formations are by their nature fluid and can also end up to 4-3-3 etc... But you guys keep missing the point here. You guys placed hajsafi infront of Ahmad noor next to vahid amiri (on right side), In a 4-1-2-2-1 system or 4-3-3 as you like to call it. This would totally kill our offensive play. Skocic would be stupid to use ehsan and amiri there.
Btw, In the article they also mention other players too however their main choice was mehdipoor. They also mention sarlak.
We have to wait and see the formation. However I doubt ehsan and amiri play infront of ahmadnoor next to each other. Also I think allahyar won't start as he is not fully ready for 90 minute games. I think Karim will start.
Darzemn Sale not Mobarak Arya jan
For example: "Were you guys high?" or whatever it was you wrote, isn't exactly necessary. - I suggest you leave comments like this out
Like you said, we're all friends and hamvatans, so please keep things constructive and stop letting other peoples opinions / lineup predictions bother you, resulting in unnessaray comments.
Only mentioning because i've noticed this with you in the past and we're all just here to talk football man. With all due respect. Thank you.

Is it Skocic’s fault players make mistakes ? Or that because we play more attacking than before our defense is expose more often?
I would say his biggest fault is selecting out of form players, but TM definitely has a style with him considering it hasn’t had a chance to practice all together more than probably 30 days cumulatively.
And relying on great players is exactly what he’s supposed to do. Should he be benching them? This is the east European way. They let players talk on the field and give them freedom. They may have a hang up here and there but they get results. Look at Croatia’s team before wc 2018, everyone thought their coach did nothing and was beneath them (I thought so too) but he knew exactly when to push and when to take it easy. The rest was on the players and it almost worked.
During the last stage we played hoofball. This stage we are trying to play a possession based game with the winger cutting in, but it way too predictable version of that style of play.
Teams with good scouting can easily identify our vulnerabilities on the wings defensively, and shut our offence down by playing compact against us.
There are also questions about off ball positioning. A lot of players overlapping in the box when on offense, and too wide of gap between the midfield and defenders on defense.
Overall I don't see us utilising our players to their maximum potential ( we a lot of players who have shown in their club careers they can understand and thrive in complex tactics).
This are all obviously subjective observations. I just think even the likes of Majidi or Yahya can give us something similar (not that I would want either them in charge).

In the absence of Taremi and Ghodos, Ansarifard in my opinion is the only player that is intelligent enough and capable of putting those through balls between the Korean’s two centre backs. He’s been effective playing that position under CQ. Neither Sarlack, KamyabiNia or Nourollahi are as good enough with that side of their game. Karim is not fast but he can hold up play and keep possession without losing the ball. He’s no pushover either.
When behind Sardar, Karim can send the through balls tuned to Sardar’s runs into the box and he can also pair up with him in a two man strike force.

I think we are underestimating Ansarifard as shadow striker to Azmoun. I am confident we will do well against Korea. I really hope Gholizadeh shows up though, he has been so inconsistent and with a depleted squad, we need him on his game.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

We should not lower expectations too far just because a few important guys are out.
Sure, we may be more limited in terms of player selection but defining characteristics of this team (at least in the past, not sure what are defining characteristics are besides giving azmoun and taremi less defensive responsibility/more freedom to create) namely work ethic, defensive organization, and ability to stay competitive in difficult situations, all factors that allowed us to have our best ever WC performance in the most difficult group in Russia, should still be something we expect.
OFC final result is something that sometimes go your way in football and other times doesnt, but these things I mentioned are non-negotiables if this team, with its very limited talent in the midfield and defensive zones, wants to be successful on a bigger stage.
in 2018 with CQ we went to Seoul missing BOTH Taremi and Azmoun in the starting xi (Taremi was only subbed in min 70), AND ezatolahi received a red card early on in the second half. We had other notable absences in the xi, namely Jalal Hosseini who at the time was our best defender with PAG. Instead Mohammad Ansari of PP started in the heart of defense (you can imagine how many levels off Jalal this guy was. In comparison Majid, SHoja, Kanani are all much better players).
Despite these difficulties, and the fact that like now we were already qualified so team could easily have let standards/performance slip and blame other factors, TM fought their ass off for a very respectable 0-0 draw and kept ahold of first place.
Tomorrow there is no reason we should not be able to do the same, regardless of some guys being out or having no pressure for result.
Lets see if they (Coaching staff + Team) can rise to the occasion and show the mentality needed to be successful in the WC, i.e high standards of performance/base level of organization under all situations and with all personnel.
I expect some difficult in midfield zone transitioning the ball to the front 3. I am not sure if midfield of Hajsafi, Nourollahi, Amiri will be able to do this effectively. I think trying mehdipour instead of Hajsafi would be a great option for skocic as we know hajsafi's level and now that we will not go to next round of WC with him playing in the midfield.

CQ was a miracle and he revolutionized Team Melli but he's gone now. We have to look at the future.
Skocic doesn't have the best resume, but a lot of Croatian coaches don't either. Yet Skocic has done an excellent job thus far. Time will tell about the future of Team Melli...
