1) In the first 15-20 mins, we actually played some excellent football. Good passing, superb defending, held some possession - it was an even game. Once Skocic made the Gholami sub, it just didn't work out. His first cap for TM in a must win game wasn't the time for it. Looked nervy.

2) Abedzadeh did make up partially for the mistake with that amazing double save, although the first goal was really a sooti of the highest order. If that doesn't happen, it is much easier to lose to a goal they scored not caused by unforced errors. I would rather have Beiro start since he has done a consistently great job for us in high-stakes tournaments.

3) No more Hajsafi in TM. Period. Same lesson as Shojaei

4) Skocic made some mistakes here IMO but honestly, we were really unlucky with the Shoja injury ruining the game plan. Unless other people can name an alternative coach within the realm of possibility seems like a moot conversation to call for him being fired

5) With Taremi or JB in this game, we win or at the worst get a draw. We don't lose. Like others have said, the composition of this team was pretty much a B squad.

6) Also people knew this was going to be an incredibly difficult match. Stop acting like a loss is totally out of the ordinary and shocking when we had a depleted team. Disappointing, but not at all shocking

Agree with 99% of your post besides Abedzadeh. He had a sooti but he was confident and redeemed himself afterwards.. I think it was a fluke goal he gave up. I still want him as team Melli starter.

Everything else I agree spot on. We were depleted without Taremi and ARJ and even more so in midfield without Saeid

Main problem was using ehsan instead of other players like omid ebrahimi , sarlak or even mehdipoor.

Skocic said in the his interview that he was upset with performance in the first half due to all the long balls to Sardar when the plan was to build up using the midfield. Well, Ehsan Hajsafi was the main problem that the plan was not well executed. As Nokhodi said, I just don't get it that coaches keep calling Hajsafi. What data do they have and what do they see from him during training that we don't see?

Exactly bro and weird part of this is that skocic knows this but plays ehsan!!!!! the only thing that comes to my mind is that Ehsan hajsafi has private nude photos and videos of all team melli staff and coaches. Thats the only reason why he is invited.

The dude is such a workhorse. He runs and runs nonstop. Against better caliber teams, every time we’ve had Sardar as the lone striker it doesn’t work out since he doesn’t have the engine Taremi has.

We can't always rely on individuals like taremi as much as i love him. But hey guys it's the coach who has to outplay the opponent when you have to play with your B-Team. That was somethin CQ was excellent and thats why we are so disappointed.
Unfortunatly we got no other option then him, but I wouldn't be sad if he is kicked.

Are people seriously gonna blame Skocic for this loss? So missing 5 key players has nothing to do with it? Abedzadeh and ehsan didn't have nothing to do with it? Taremi and ARJ are our best scorers and we were missing them. Saeed is our best MD and we were missing him. How do you guys primarily blame skocic for this loss.
