I was looking forward to see the full team against S Korea in the away game, unfortunately it's disappointing to not see Taremi and Jahanbakhsh. But we do have the necessary depth to hold our own, although doubtful that TM is going to win it will still be entertaining and good challenge for TM

Also anyone hoping Korea tops our group should seriously question their sanity and loyalty to TM. We don't need bandwagon fans. They can go cheer for Qatar or other Persian Gulf rivals.

Skocic will be crucified by critics no matter what.
If we get a decent result - who cares? the game didn't matter anyways! Korea was missing players too. With our players even a donkey could win.
If we lose - LOOK! SEE! He can't beat a half-decent Asian team that had players sick with Corona!

its still mildly impressive to me that even with 6 starters out we can still field such a dangerous, fully legionairre front 3. I know gholi and allahyar have been out of form for the past month or so but if you look at their performances as a whole this season they have done quite well, stats back that up.
They can be very dangerous on the break if the system behind them can withstand with korean pressure and find the correct out balls. IMO, hosseinzadeh's speed in transition and work ethic is also perfectly suited for this game.

3) Not addressing RB position correctly - why is Hardani not invited now on good form, but was before? Not addressing CB position correctly or even giving Hosseini 2nd chance...
4) Consistent invitations of Khamenei lovers like Torabi, to an extent Ghaedi (although he is dropped now, he shouldn’t have been invited on poor form).
5) Not giving priority to European legionnaires playing good leagues like Mohebi, Alipour, Delfi, or Zahedi... (but invites people like Hosseinzadeh/Ghaedi?)
6) Has a chance to invite replacements for the Covid contingency, but doesn't?
7) Invites garbage like Kamyabinia even if recruiting from PGPL? At least scout better players if you scout in Iran.
8) Invites 5 CBs, even though won't play 3ATB.
9) Encourages players to go to Qatar/UAE or remain in PGPL based on lists contrary to Queiroz.
10) Acting like a "yes man" and not putting pressure on IFF (better friendlies/camps, equipment, WC preparation...?)

I mean seriously, Niazmand outperformed Hossein Hosseini and Beiranvand in the same league and broke league records, but was dropped???
Even for Portimonense, he was good for them by helping them reach QF of the Portuguese Cup.

Photos of TM practices are not necessarily an indication of Coachs' or players' mood. It's a split second impression and the person could look upset while they were being serious about a topic. I don't think the IFF current leadership will touch Skocic until the end of WC. They don't have the money and they have enough instability with the Azizi Khadme removal and the new general assembly coming up in a couple months. Skocic is a strong point on their resume so far.
The photos and the video below shows that coaches and players are seriously at work preparing for the big game on Thursday.
Go TM!

Of course this is a free forum and I guess a member rooting for Korea is not against the forum rules since we could and do have Korean members. Speaking from personal experience, there have been many times in my life since I started following football that I did not like the coach (e.g. Mayeli Kohan and Ghale Noeie) and I have never liked IFF officials for that matter. Also, I have never agreed 100% with any of TM head coaches even during CQ. So in my view, disagreement with the coach and dislike of IFF and IR, is not a good reason to root for one of our historical opponents in Asia. TM is a rare symbol of unity among all Iranians all over the world. I call for standing behind TM in unison.
Go TM!
