As others have said this is a test for skocic AND the team. Who knows, maybe in Qatar 2022 azmoun and taremi both hurt. The rest of the guys must step up, it’s a team, not individual

Although, if we somehow get smashed by Korea, I wouldn’t be surprised to see skocic get canned and replaced with someone like yahya, especially since PP has no CL coming up

This will actualy be exhiting, I expect the ones not given a chance before to try and play the game of their lives to secure a spot in WC and argue for a starting position.

If it wasnt for pot B, this would actualy be great, in a way. (Not the covid part but the new 11 part)

But seing pot B as a bonus this will be very interesting, and important experiance. We should still play to win, and se it as a world cup game.

Coming WC, if we are hit with injuries or covid, this wiöl be very positive experiance for the squad, specialy if we exit with a good result from this game!

Time to show why we are Asias best TEAM, not just best starting eleven. I believe we have a good depth so actualy not that worried

What do you mean they are not a cohesive team? Have you watched their last matches? They are very cohesive and can easily create chances. They have midfielders who are way better than Nourollahi and Sarlak.

Also all odds are against us.

1) We miss 5 starting players
2) Son is on fire right now. He scored two goals yesterday for Tottenham.
3) It's an away match
4) Bagheri is not there to motivate the players. The players respect him a lot.

Even if we lose, we shouldn't get pissed off. Almost nobody expects us to win this match and we should lower our expectations to deal better with the pain later. We are clearly the underdogs and anybody who thinks we aren't is, with all due respect, very delusional.

The problem: Moharami, was a huge liability. I couldn't believe how easily Son scored running past him. To be honnest, it's not like our center backs are much better. I miss the days with Rezaeian, PAG, Hosseini and Miimo.
