If Gholizadeh crosses like they are from Outworld or Abedzadeh has a lapus maximus, just like Beiro did against Lebanon, why is Skocic to blame?
Should Skocic have played more offensively? It's hard to say, he wanted to tighten the game in midfield, he also just didn't have the players to play effectively offensively without Mehdi, Sardar hangs in the air as the German says.

You can also see that at Leverkusen, Sardar doesn't work as a single striker without real support. Many underestimate that we simply didn't had our best team today and that plays a big role against a team like South Korea. Now imagine Germany hypothetically losing 2-0 away to Italy in Rome without their best players in the attack and a goalkeeper who is still inexperienced in NT, I doubt people in this country would completely lose their cool like ours do.
You guys complain about our players losing their nerves on the pitch, yet you guys are exactly the same and not even on the pitch.
    1) Ghoddos(hell wven Torabi) lays the ball off to Gholizadeh for a 1-0 goal

    2) Hardani playing means we dont concede the second goal. In fact, regardless of parking the bus or not, we never concede the 2nd goal under CQ ever. An open guy on the 6 yard line? Not a chance.

Bekesh ziresh is not a real tactic for attacking. At the world cup level even our squad players should be good enough to make 2-3 passes, create an overload on the wing and get a cross in. These are footballing basics!

      I don't understand.

Do we need another mistake similar to Wilmots??

Part of the job should be to control damages. Wilmots was a thief who stole from us. If we had money, we could sue him.

Keep Skocic. Only thieves will come to coach. Skocic cares and his salary is reasonable.

WHY cannot our members do cost-benefit analyses?

I care more than Skocic and will take less salary. Are those the only qualifications for the job?

Why is Beiranvand not playing, he is by far superior and more experienced,

Compare your results with Sokcic and Wilmots the thief.

The thief is the IRIFF thugs that put him in place, like Mehdi Taj and his son etc.

You always want to blame only foreigners and never point the finger that it's anti-Iranian Iranians who make it happen. Internal cancer is always worse than a superficial outside wound.

If we had a decent federation, we can get a good manager and not a third-grade PGL manager who has zero credibility outside IR Iran. We deserve better.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

IR Khaemals like Khiabani are going to come out now and say Iranian manager is the best route to go lol and we need Iranian manager for pride.

Since you want Skocic out, and you don't want an Iranian coach - then who would you seriously suggest?

                    Unpopular opinion:
It's not a tragedy loosing to S Korea on their sole with key players missing when you are already qualified.

PS: Some act like we lost against Maldives lol
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Once Skocic made the Gholami sub, it just didn't work out. His first cap for TM in a must win game wasn't the time for it. Looked nervy.
                      2) Abedzadeh did make up partially for the mistake with that amazing double save, although the first goal was really a sooti of the highest order. If that doesn't happen, it is much easier to lose to a goal they scored not caused by unforced errors. I would rather have Beiro start since he has done a consistently great job for us in high-stakes tournaments.
                      3) No more Hajsafi in TM. Period. Same lesson as Shojaei
                      4) Skocic made some mistakes here IMO but honestly, we were really unlucky with the Shoja injury ruining the game plan. Unless other people can name an alternative coach within the realm of possibility seems like a moot conversation to call for him being fired
                      5) With Taremi or JB in this game, we win or at the worst get a draw. We don't lose. Like others have said, the composition of this team was pretty much a B squad.
                      6) Also people knew this was going to be an incredibly difficult match. Stop acting like a loss is totally out of the ordinary and shocking when we had a depleted team. Disappointing, but not at all shocking
We have gone from a team with huge squad depth in the CQ era to people calling this a "B squad" because some regular starters were missing. This is laughable. If you really think the only problem with this game was that JB and Taremi were missing you still have not grasped how poor a coach Skocic is and what predicament we have been in for more than a year, a predicament conveniently masqueraded in wins against weak Asian teams. The only Asian team of any meaningful pedigree in our group we could not beat in two games.

                        I agree.

Taj and company were responsible for hiring Wilmots the thief.

IFF is NOT the only incompetent organization. I am worried about incompetent people represented us in nuclear talks. We will end up again losing which will affect our future as a nation. Football will become the least of our worries.

I am sorry to say that, but you are in for a rude awakening at the World Cup, my friend, if you haven't understood yet what is going on. Rome has been burning for quite some time, this loss is just the latest fireball.

People are upset that we lost this important match. Japan will take #1 spot and we lose the good chance that we had for taking pot2 in WC draw.

So many comments and replies about Skocic, yet no one is saying who is supposed to be the coach?

People act like we are this rich nation with competent federation and funding.

Only decent domestic coach, Gholmohammadi, turned down the job. Most high caliber coaches won't come to coach our team. CQ won't come back. Skocic is as good as it's gonna get for the time being. Is he a good coach for the job? Not really but who else? Do people realize Iran is cut off from SWIFT? How are we going to pay a foreign coach? suitcases full of US dollars like in Hollywood movies?

It's so easy to complain about Skocic and the rest of the TM staff, but our country is broken... I'm thankful we even qualified for the WC with the way things are going.
