Ideal opponent's from each Pot:

Pot 1: Belgium, Argentina, England

Pot 2: Uruguay, USA, Croatia

Pot 4: Canada, Costa Rica, Peru or Ecuador

So my dream group would be:

England
Croatia
Iran
Costa Rica

We have to avoid Germany from pot 2 and ecuador from pot 4 at any cost!

I would feel sorry for an Asian team in pot 3 if that team gets in the same group as Germany. Because in addition to Germany, there would be a team from pot 1. That team wouldn't be Qatar because two Asian teams won't be in the same group due to FIFA rules. With a new coach and younger players, Germany has improved a lot.

Yes this would be a great group but unfortunately, as soon as USA gets drawn, then New Zealand gets removed from pot 4 when they draw a team for us. So even if New Zealand makes it, it's impossible to get this draw because it could've been Costa Rica which means 2 CONCACAF teams.

Goal.com released their power rankings for the World Cup. They only ranked Saudi Arabia and Qatar below Iran. They wrote the following:

"Iran have only missed two World Cups since 1998, and will be there again this time after topping their group in the third round of Asian qualifying.

They wrote that Azmoun is our hope to progress. How can they be this ignorant about Taremi?

Portugal, USA, Iran, Newzealand / Ghana

Worst draw:
France, Germany, Iran, Canada


Portugal is by far the worst team in pot 1, aside from Qatar whom we can't have in our group.

USA is easily the worst team in pot 2, even Mexico is pretty shit now, but at l east they always turn up at WC.

I'm not sure how pot 4 draw can happen when the continent representatives aren't decided yet, but we should be beating Ghana / Cameroon from that pot. but ofc, I'd still prefer New Zealand.
