Best case would be England/Iran/USA/Scotland. I think we have the edge in Qatar, since we are more familiar with the weather, the stadiums etc.
Friendlies against Italy, Ireland, Turkey, Croatia, the looser of the Scotland/Ukraine vs Wales Game and other European Teams would be great.

You’re right the ref is a factor to be worried about as well but again don’t underestimate the effects of a country going through a hard time and the players turning into maldini zidane and maradona as a result
