Peru is 22nd and Iran 21st. If Peru beat Uruguay and Paraguay, they will most likely jump ahead of us in FIFA ranking as Uruguay and Paraguay are higher ranked than SK and Lebanon. Do we get a new FIFA ranking before the April draw date that incorporates these games? If we do, then we have to hope for all of the following based on my back of the envelope calculation:
- Iran to win the next two games.
- Peru to get ahead of Uruguay in S America qualification table without winning their next two games.
- Senegal to lose to Egypt.
- Sweden to get eliminated.
Of course, if Turkey or North Macedonia are able to eliminate both Italy and Portugal, then we can get to pot 2 if one of the above does not come true.

Also, US and Mexico have not officially qualified yet, so if they mess up their next three games, a chance that one or both will be eliminated which should make it easier for us to get to pod 2.

In short: As long as we beat SK peru is not a threat for us. If they beat uruguay they will get 13.71 points (1,563.45+13.71 = 1577.16). We will get 11.3 (1,572.89+11.3 = 1584.19 ) . So a win tommo and there is no way for them to reach us (unless we lose to lebanon lol).

Looking at how thing are going i'm not really looking forward to tommo's match. SK is on fire and we have 5-6 key players missing.

To be honest Mexico is just as out of ideas as we are. Let's see how they do tonight vs US but the last 4 times they were outplayed by US and their kids. The only advantage they have is that they are Mexico and the money they will bring in for FIFA means any contact in the box on their kotooloo wingers by our players is an automatic penalty.

Besides Mexico and US, only Denmark looks like a team we get something off of on a good day.

If we have our full team, we can beat any team from pot 2 except Germany and maybe Switzerland because they have been really strong for the last few years.

I hope we get Belgium, USA and Tunisia OR Belgium, Uruguay and Panama/Costa Rica
Belgium isn't as strong as before. Hazard is done and their defense is much weaker compared to the other top teams.

If we get Germany, we can say goodbye. They are in my opinion the strongest team in the world right now. Joachim Löw was the only reason for their weak performances but right now they are absolutely unbeatable.
