People were talking about it on Twitter lol. They were making the argument that when Hardani had mediocre performances for Foolad he was called up to TM, but as soon as he joined Esteghlal and had good performances he did not get called up anymore.

The fans are being childish. Look at all the esteghlalis he invited now. He would have invited last round but they got Covid.

Omid Ebra & either one of zahdi or mohebi could prove capable of making up the missing covid cases

Oh man how unlucky are we? Las t time Azmoun, while Taremi barely made it to Iran the day of the match, and now this…

All this COVID shit has to happen as soon as they’re due for TM camp for an upcoming match. I really really want to see us come victorious off Korea match!

They have a few key players out with covid too. I prefer not to cry about it.

We are already qualified, most likely won’t be getting pot 2, and now actually have a chance to test some youngsters in an environment where result will not be held against staff/players as much as normal.

If we are asking about squad: taremi->alipour, ARJ-> mohebbi, ghoddos-> yasin (if fit) / rafiei will probably be called up otherwise.

As for the actual 11 now I’d like to see:

Not sure they can call up replacements since they invited 27 players and it takes one day to get to South Korea with Visa required. Azmoun upfront with Ahmad, Mehdipour and Sarlak in midfield(He’ll start Hajsafi), Amiri and Gholizadeh on the wings.

Mohebi, Alipour and Zahedi….this TM staff needs to set the same precedent CQ’s staff did. All have had good moments in a respectable European league this year and deserve to be rewarded. This is ridiculous that it’s even a conversation….and this is coming from someone who historically is not a mohebi fan.
