Tactics require players who can execute. Iran has serious player quality issue for exception of a few. We can't even make more than 3 healthy passes.

Yes easier with mbappe and bernardo silva and the best team of ACL

We can shit all we want on skocic, I have seen iran playing with so many pass and combination than under him. It's not Ajax yet but more pleasant that we witnessed before

We have many players who've shown they are more than capable of executing complex tactics for their European clubs.

We have a better chance of getting Halilhodzic than Jardim at this rate. Just need Morocco not to qualify lol...

Apparently they’re going to fire him even if they qualify.
He is a great coach but has been fired twice after qualifying teams for the world
Cup (ivory coast and Japan) because he doesn’t take shit from anyone and doesn’t have a fancy name. Poor guy is about to qualify a 4th team for the World Cup but will only have managed in one!

He put Algeria on the map. He is the most realistic option for us one day. Why is morroco going to fire him?

He put Algeria back on the map. Algeria had a great team in the 80s. Moroccans want him gone because they want to play sexy football. Stupid juvenile thinking.

He also dropped Ziyech from squad cause of hashiyeh and stuff. That's gutsy. Kinda like Skocic and Taremi

Ziyech had issues with renard too. Renard went to Europe and begged him to come back. Halilhodzic said no, too bad.

In principal I agree with you but any of these new coaches coming in don't even know thats a problem and they have less than 8 months to figure it out.
8 months is enough as long as we get this yes man out of Team Melli, we need to hire someone the players, federation and PGL coaches will respect. I think he’s reached his limit here, CQ would’ve told Majidi to STFU and not invited a single Esteghlal player. However, we all know the IFF won’t hire anyone who’s brave enough to demand friendlies and more attention to TM from them. They’re already looking to pocket the World Cup money with these new gang of vultures. At this point I’ll be happy if they hire someone who brings authority to the team and players will respect, Daei, Branko, Bielsa even Fatih Terim …

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Honestly, the best way forward for our football is for reactionary PP/ESES fans to be put on a leash and common sense reforms be made to our youth systems.
Make those two changes and we go from whatever mess we are now to Korea/Japan lite.

Eight months is more than enough.

                            3 months is enough.

Talebi absorbed the work that Ivic did from training camps and still performed above expectations in the 1998 world cup. We had three coaches within six months and still the team did so much better than anyone at the time expected...

All it needs is a coach with a vision and a few training camps. Next three months are critical. We don't have a great pool of players in defence or midfield but it would be a shame for us not to get to the second round in the last chance before the format changes.

I still will always respect Dragan for rescuing us in first round of world cup qualifiers, and of course everything is difficult in Iran, but the team's shape has regressed to 2009, the chances of an embarrassment in hte world cup are quite high, and it's reasonable for him to go

The federation is lietally headless [Chicken] after Azizi Khadem Fiasco and everyone in the Federation is speaking for their own interest to become the head by leveraging Red and Blue sentiment. Think about these questions before you try to bring another decent coach
                              1. Is the new coach even affordable by Iran?
                              2. Will he be ready to fully commit to Iran?
                              3. Will the IFF have the will and power to sign such a coach?
                              4. Is the coach married or related to an attorney?
You can ask and make a nice graphic with Anceloti for all I care, but it's not tonly hat Skocic has hit it's ceiling, it is Iran and IFF that has a ceiling and it is called CQ. The max you can get is CQ and CQ is not at his peak either.

None of the legionnaires respect Branko.
