That one world caliber coach that is willing:

-to be paid in Rials and not USD
-put up with incompetent IFF
-deal with the toxic SS & PP organizations and fan base
-put up with all the BS Iranian media drama
-scout world caliber players from our flawed and underwhelming domestic league
-implement top physical fitness with no friendlies and camps
-get IFF to plan friendlies with higher rank teams when IFF doesn’t want to pay for friendlies
-somehow manage to get us kit sponsors
-live in Iran and not leave for long durations (remember CQ getting ridiculed for going on vacation?)
-not bring support staff or bodyguard (Wilmots)
-put up with his paycheck getting flagged by international banks because money getting transferred from Iran (majority of Iranian banks are sanctioned)
-get pressured to have specific assistant coaches or specific players from SS & PP
-inadequate supporting infrastructure that makes up our footballing organizations. Remember back for WCQ 2018 when TM went to Guam and no one had looked into the field that the Guam “stadium” had? It was astroturf and none of our players had the proper cleats. TM staff has to go to the sporting mart and purchase shoes in Guam…
-no grassroots development infrastructure
-bankrupt IFF

The list goes on.

Skocic is definitely not the caliber coach TM deserves, but his critics keep saying Skocic needs to get sacked when there isn’t even a replacement considered. I doubt any of our domestic coaches will do any better, specially with only 8 months to go. Hell our IFF doesn’t even have a president at this point…

I want him out too now. The Korea match and this lackluster match against Lebanon sealed his fate in my mind. He really has no tactical understanding and it makes me worried how he Iran will fare at the World Cup.
