Skocic had one loss after qualifying with a depleted squad in hostile Korea. That might be the strongest team he faced. A team he got results from in Tehran and could have taken the full 3. Based on that 1 loss after qualifying we are concluding he has no tactics versus bigger teams? I don't even want to get into coach comparisons as some feel previous coaches have tactics yet they lost handedly to teams Skocic made light work of.

No one hates Skocic, it just he isn’t really in charge , other ppl who are not interested in the team are making the decisions

For 90 minutes we were playing with 10 men and we took them to penalties.

Let’s hope for a good preparation, and for Skocic to rise to the occasion.
1998 - We changed coaches right before the WC started; France showing "Not without my daughter" right before the US-Iran match.
2002 - N/A
2006 - Branko and Karimi drama; Mirzapour in goal
2010 - N/A
2014 - Messi's magic in the 93rd minute shattered our hopes
2018 - US sanction drama before the match (no shoes)
2022 - Dragan (will he rise to the challenge)

2014 - We probably had the easiest group . If we would've won the game against Bosnia we were thro instead of Nigeria. Also Don't forget the ref in Argentina game. He didn't give us that penalty

As an example recall Ghanaian players threatening to boycott 2014 WC match v Portugal due to financial issues. Just Google them and all their current controversies leading up to Qatar. It's chaos in Ghana again before a WC!

Skocic (who is mostly just a puppet for the likes of Bagheri) is no where near the coach we need or deserve.
Out under normal circumstances but its becoming too little too late to make a change now. Doesn't make sense anymore.
The only way is if CQ comes back who is thoroughly familiar with the team and country, which won't happen.
He will stay if only because the federation acted too late and also cares more about lining their own pockets than having a good coach.

Just like we were holding Korea with our B team and had better chances till Khalilzadeh's injury. Ya stuff happens in football outside of coaches control all the time.

His comments recent worry me that he is going to be playing someone like hajsafi all 3 games … they guy is done , he is more of a bench player now , not someone to start
We are not like Ghana 🇬🇭 they actually have a proper kit sponsor , they have have a corrupt federation like us who steal the money from FIFA that they receive… so in that sense we are the same …

Not only they had more depth in their team but of course their fitness would be much better than our players

This debate bores me now. He's crap, we look crap under him and there's a list of approximately 100+ realistic superior names that would take the job if offered. But none of it matters much any more, the timing is late and I'm too drunk on the prospect of England and USA to care.
We rarely get embarrased, SK was a shambles and we only lost 2-0, Japan 3-0 was a sudden and short-lived collapse rather than being outclassed, we didn't even get thrashed by Brazil under Ghotbi. Was Mexico friendly under Ghalenoei the last time we lost by more than 3?
What I'm saying is we definitely won't have the quality so let's just hope the gheyrat fuels us sufficiently to put up a fight and chance our way to some historic scenes.
