Skocic deserves to be fired for this alone. Such a dumb individual who clearly is just trying to save his own ass from getting fired by avoiding a friendly against a good opponent

I'd want Mahdavikia. Charisma + intelligence...
He wont' bail on U23 though.
He's not tested in top level international football as a coach, but neither is Skocic really.
What I really want is a full replacement of IFF ASAP.
Bring in Ancelotti and he couldn't do anything either without friendlies and proper planning.
I like what i see from TM U-23 with him as the coach. Good choice.
We've had many changes within IFF during the years, i haven't noticed any big difference.
Don't get your hopes up that changing people within the IFF will make a difference. They'll just be replaced by someone as incompetent.
Regarding the bolded part i disagree. Having followed team melli/our club football for many years i have noticed something.
When our players respect/look up to the coach, we tend to play a lot better. That alone makes it worth it to change the coach, even at this point.Esteghlal 💙💙

If the disgrace somehow departs before November, I really can see an emergency CQ return on the cards at which point we'll see the fall of the Islamic Republic. Tears in my eyes.

I hope all these ppl (Skocic supporters) understand now why , it so important that the coach of the Team Melli be at a certain reputation standard in the world of football( someone who has accomplished somethings coaching in a league or national team at a respectable level)
and all these ppl who keep saying wilmonts ( he had zero coaching accomplishments anywhere )
so that we don’t have to see all these embarrassing issue take place right now , at least it is better now than instead of after the World Cup like with Branko (WC 2006 Germany) when everything spilled over after the last game , and they had to bring someone world class (CQ) to clean the shit up ..
History has shown Croatian or coaches with weak personality do not work for us , we need someone with a strong personality who is not fazed by money … preferably someone who has money already and isn’t money hunger and is coaching more for glory accomplishments , personal achievements and reputation..

Has Aghajanian even had an offer from even a division 1 team from Iran?
Asbagi in the future MAYBE.
What is Zandi up to nowadays?

The idea of him coaching under I.R is an impossible one. (Also not sure he's actually that good of a coach)

We already have such a goozoo nobody as our coach.
Abbas Agha from the local Tehran Bazaar might be able to give a positive shock to the team, and rescue our WC-campaign!Esteghlal 💙💙

Stop bring that mistake up Wilmots he was a no body, in the coaching world , yes he was an amazing player , but as a coach , he was a no body,
Sint-truiden - he was sacked didnt last 6 months : A fail
Ivory Coast - could not qualify for the World Cup a stacked team last 6 months : A fail
Iran - lost against Iraq and Bahrain , lasted 6 months : A fail
Raja Casablanca - was sacked after 3 months : A fail
You see the pattern , he was a massive mistake by TAJ and the IFF ,
The did not do their homework when they hired him , Yes he had a name for himself being the coach of Belgium, but during his tenure he did not accomplish anything or achieve much , with such a stacked him that we was replaced …
But some of if is that we were used to CQ he worked and did everything for the TM so we thought Wilmonts would be like that as well
.
where did he go after coaching us , so a team in Morocco Raja Casablanca, and he didn’t last at all why cause he couldn’t take it and the pressure was too much for him , he never had any accomplishments or accolades as a coaches , he was just there so TAJ could steals millions in contract money , he isn’t a legitimate excuse to bring up anymore for anyone trying to justify Skocic …..
