Few observations:

1) Our players are not fit, looks like they are playing on their heals and always late to the ball and trying to rough up the players.

2) The coach needs the team to look good and organized and much quicker with the ball movement. Guys are not playing hard to save his job.

3) As for the ref, I am not sure if he has missed a call yet.

4) Biernvand has developed a reputation for not being safe with the ball. Lebanon is definitely trying to close him down.

5) Nice run by Azmoun but he will never get that opportunity at BV. He has to get those Covid Lungs pumping again.

It’s not just on Skocic. It’s on Hashemian, Karim Bagheri, Marijo, Ghorbanalipour and the rest of them too.

We’re supposed to be #1 in Asia. We can’t be playing like this vs. teams like Lobnan.

If we play good football, if we dominate, win by 1-0 or the game ends in a draw, I’ll be more content than watching “bezan ziresh” football.

Hopefully Skocic has made the necessary changes. He has proven he’s the man of the second half. Let’s see what happens.

I don't know, maybe but I seriously doubt it happening nowadays. AFC referees are actually quite solid now and no one wants to give up the chance to go to the WC. It's a competitive process they all vie for and are graded meticulously for each match

The big difference is, that Japan created many scoring chances and absolutely dominated the game. They even scored 2-1 which was not given due to VAR! Plus Japan even in there worst days know the fundamentals of the game, which can't be said for TM.
