I think only team that has a chance to advance from Asia is Australia based on the opponents. If CQ's return to Asian WC teams is true then probably it will with the aussies....

He knew Portugal and Spain. He coached S. AFRICA and must have known Morocco and Nigeria too...jeeze if only countries didn't get new talents and remained stagnant this logic would be gold!

Well he's Croatian...so he knows Europe. He played Algeria so he must know all of Africa. He knows all Asian sides. LOL Get the sarcasm? No coach really knows any opposition team. That's why they scout, watch tapes, and have friendlies.

This idea that CQ knows teams and we will do better is utter nonsense. No team stays same forever let alone month to month. Tactics change players rotate, coaches change etc.

Last I checked buddy hajasafi still in Tm so I don’t know what you’re talking about but he also played in Brazil and he played in Russia and he’s going to end up playing in Qatar so I don’t see this point usually national teams have a change over every 4to 8 years so players play for at least 4to 8 years on the national team there’s no change unless you’re super power and you can change players every 2 to 3 years which you know most teams aren’t ,

How long has wales had Gareth Bale how long has the USA had Christian Pulisic how long has England had Kyle Walker????
