Branko is currently under contract as the head coach of Oman - I don't see how TM can get him for the World Cup.

While all rumors should be taken cautiously, I suspect that even the traditional Skocic supporters in IFF are starting to realize that their careers are on the line based on his upcoming performance at the WC. If TM gets man-handled because Skocic is playing checkers while the rest of the group is playing 3-D chess, then goodbye koosh IFF posts. So they’re starting to panick and looking at other options.

I Would rather have Skocic than any iranian coach. Cant see which iranian coach that isnt going to create hashieh or invite players from his own club/whoever he has a good relationship with.

Really hope CQ comes back, but it looks very unlikely. All rumors but no real reasons to believe that we are going to sack Skocic unfortunately.

Skocic will get sacked because the ungrateful mafia is getting more vocal. I predict khodadad azizi or better yet Estili takes the job as next coach. Then we shall regret our mistakes which happens prior to every WC.

Guaranteed from history whenever we sack a coach last minute it's always a vatani replacement. What world class coach would accept a job after seeing how a record setting coach was treated 5 months before WC? Expect azizi or Estili worst case and best case Farhad Majidi or Daie. Still piss poor options all around.

Can you name which World class coach currently available, who we Can:

1: get 4 months before
2: Can afford
3: and who Can do a better job only having 4 months (if not less) to learn about the team and players. Furthermore implements his tactics, and get the players to understand Them, having only 1 international break before the World cup… these are the things that people dont understand. There are so many factors to consider. As I have said before, this Forum has alot of passion, but sometimes not the knowledge of how football works.

Personally I dont Think Skocic os anything Great. But perhaps other than CQ, there is no one in World football who Will come and do a better job 4 months before the tournament. People really Think Pep Guardiola just tell his players to pass the Ball around in Triangles and then it just magically happens
