I know what you mean. My cousins that came from Iran 15 years ago are exactly like you. I understand and respect it. My mom wasnt born in Iran only my dad and Ive never been to Iran I still love Iran and our Persian Culture and always stand up for Iran outside.

I started this thread because i think irans mentality could be improved as i was surprised seeing canadian players and media and fans say bring on Germany and every time we have a group draw its a nightmare for us lol

Credit to Canada, and as a Canadian I'm proud to see them storming their way to the world cup out of CONCACAF, but they'll be in for a nasty surprise if they think they're on par with world's heavy weights like Germany or Argentina..

I was born in 1988 and I never seen Canada play in the world cup in 34 years. This will be the first time. This squad has so much self belief and team spirit. At the moment they are the definition of 1 man down 1 man up, All for 1 and 1 for All. Ive seen Iran play 1998, 2006, 2014,2018 and now 2022, I saw Iran play Germany, Yugo, Argentina, Spain, Portugal x2.... World class teams, And we held our own and played great games actually. Well to be fair they only knew about Lewandowski and Serbias players. They did say might want to avoid Senegal but would be ok facing them lol...Iran wasn't even on radar cause they prefer to face Qatar in Pot 1.

Mozdoor Persian media in the west downplaying Iran’s achievements trying to kill hope and pride for country doesn’t help either. Although, let’s not forget Iran came away with only a 1- 0 loss in a group with Spain, Portugal and Morocco doubt Canada would get more than 1 point in that group.
