England has played 5 games in the Nations League this year and has only scored once - a penalty against Germany. They lost to a very weak Italian side today.
Meanwhile, Wales has 4 losses and has only managed a draw in 5 games in the Nations League. In their defense though they have put up good fights in every game (against Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland).
The US has faced 5 WC teams this calendar year (Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Uruguay and Japan) and has scored 0 goals in those games. The game against Uruguay ended 0-0 and was played on home soil. Their recent record on away soil is terrible.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
