Bale will most likely retire after this World Cup. He is pushing his body over the line - he can’t play a full 90 minute game so the likelihood of him playing the full 3 group games is very slim. Same with Ramsey too.

The problem is, that Wales Will play England in their last game. Is England has 6 points and already are qualified, i Can see that game ending with a draw, since that Would benefit both teams. If Wales Beat usa and get a draw from England, then its looking tough. I Think we have to beat Wales. I really fear that England and Wales both Will make it through with a draw and their last game, which Will make it very difficult for us

Even with weak service from urruguayan mids darwin is having his way with US backline. Any half decent balls he gets, into feet or in behind, and they really struggle to contain him.

wouldnt say algerias reserves. They beat uganda 2-0 today. Lineup was almost the same as the team that plaed cameroon in WC playoff. Only a couple differences, and only real one that you could argue isnt an upgrade was of course mahrez being out (ghezzal of besiktas played instead).

Been saying the same. Belmadi is trying new players he hopes can be fixed national players. It's not a reserve squad at all.

BTW everyone railed on me but Uruguay does not seem to be too motivated against USa. Looks like sometimes they don't play all out. Wonder how they would have taken an Iran match.

I think they would be much more motivated. First of all cooler climate for a lot of these EU based fuys, also they’ll be in front of their own fans for the last time. Sendoff games before wc tend to be highly charged affairs.

England should get 9 points
Iran should aim for 4 (draw usa and beat Wales)
USA should also aim 4 (draw Iran and beat Wales)

Then it comes down to goal difference, so we need to concede as few as possible against England and try to get a couple against wales.

The wales team today, a lot of them are bench warmers, and the ones that do play, play for low premier league or championship.

Bale hasn’t played properly for couple of years, Ramsey only recently has for some minutes for Rangers.

On paper several of our players could get into the Wales starting 11 (on paper)

I said reserves bc the coach made a statement saying if the match with TM happens he will want to test out new players so that’s why it sounded like reserves to me but I hope it features their best XI if it does even happen.

Is the Algeria match confirmed yet? I remember hearing that 3 friendlies where support to take place in replacement of canceled Uruguay match.
