actually the tactics they used last time vs england (1-1 draw) mirror exactly what we should look to do. Hungry's counters are amazing. They pass blindly knowing there should be a runner in the channel and amazingly enough, the runner is always there. So so quick...
They press high, win the ball in midfield and within two seconds and one or two passes, they are at England's goal mouth...Comment

Hungary deserved that win, however that was never a pen. This ref was shocking at times in the Portuguese league though - apart from the pen decision he was good the rest of the game.
England were poor a tried out a few players and that didn’t work but it gives Southgate a better understanding of his squad against quality opposition with these nation league games. Southgates indecision to change things up tactically has been England’s downfall a few times now. Defensively they can be got at - it is their weakest area. Their is an over reliance on Kane too, Abraham was on the bench and ready to go and would have given the defence something different to think about. Kane has a tendency to come deeper if he is not getting success up front which is a sign that they are not performing well.
However I don’t think England will be losing sleep over this loss.Comment
