WC22 TM's preparation and friendlies

So far in Skocic era, TM has had 3 friendly matches cancelled: Tajikistan in 2020, Mali in 2021 and New Zealand in 2022.

Under Skocic, TM only has played Syria, Uzbekistan and Bosnia Herzegovina in friendlies. Under Wilmots, TM only played South Korea and Syria in friendly matches. Yet Former Football Icons, Iranian media yet in the past few years complained about TM friendlies under Queiroz particularly teams like Venezuela, Bolivia, Lithuania, Belarus, Montenegro, Trinidad Tobago.

Even now, either this week or last week I saw one Iranian media complaining about Albania!!! A lot of these former footballers or Iranian media proved that they don't understand what International friendly means and don't understand about quality of teams!!! They keep talking about wishing to play Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands. Yet they forgot that Albania defeated TM in 2012, Belarus and Montenegro tied TM 0-0 in 2014, Venezuela tied TM 1-1 in 2018, TM defeated Venezuela 1-0 in 2017 and same score versus Lithuania in 2018, 2-1 win over Bolivia in 2018.

EL SALVADOR - available June 10 or 11.

They will also have to go to Turkey for Canadian visas.
Before that they’ll be in Tehran a bit. Boys from Belgium will apparently join the latest.
Amiri, ghodoos, zahedi, shoja and Kaveh are injured or recovering.
Foreign brands which provided a bid for TM kits are: Jako, Kelme, and Tempo.
Domestic is Uhlsport (read dallal from dubai), Majid, and a brand named Persian.

None of the staff have been paid yet btw.

Its a South American team or a complete minnow of CONCACAF (Curaçao, Grenada, Aruba, British Virgin Islands), which are amateur men's teams with where all the players have day jobs.

Colombia only has one game with KSA on June 5, 2022 for next FIFA day so far. Currently they should be available from June 10 to June 14. I do not know if IFF knows this or not.

Seriously how hard is it to set up a friendly game with Estonia/Albania and Costa rica!! How hard could it be! So fraustrated over our prep!

Estonia , Albania , Azerbaijan , Iceland , Costa Rica , Newzealand are all free for friendly game.

Why would they then fly to Canada, on an entirely different continent, AFTER THEIR MATCHES to play Iran, or even host us in Albania and have TM fly across nearly the entire world for 180 minutes of football? Feels like an injury risk even for both teams because of how terrible those logistics are. I'm sorry, but this makes no sense. Albania isn't realistic.

Agreed its not ideal but lets say we got 2 friendlies such as albania + NZ/Ecuador. I am not sure how much better that is for our direct WC prep than playing canada. This is the ultimate and perfect friendly for the US match. If they had a chance to get it done they had to go for it, whatever the risks (yes even if it meant going to canada). Or else wed be sitting here saying what idiots they are for not arranging a friendly with a team that in terms of talent level, playing, style, etc is so similar to the one game we must win to have any chance at advancing from our group.

I would be very surprised if they don't arrange at least one more decent friendly in the window.
