Nope. As Nokhodi pointed out they wanted us out of Canada within 24 hrs of match. They didn't provide any meaningful visas to TM.

I was against this but I believe Asia, Oceania, and maybe Africa need to create some larger tournament like Nations league. It's the only way going forward as TM lacks the leadership to arrange test matches. Maybe top 2 teams from each federation make it to a playoff knockout. This would help us, help Oceania get competitive matches and allow more revenue for Africa...I just can't fathom any other way as all the other confederation seem to be heading this route.

I am sorry but this is the epitome of incompetency in IR and elsewhere. There is a head-coach. Like it or not, he is the head-coach. If Majidi does not like it, its his problem. He cannot do whatever he likes, just because he does not like or respect the TM head coach.

As long as everyone wants to do his own thing without regards to the well-established protocols, we will not get any further in football or in life.

I am in favour of this. I really think Asia would benefit from such an arrangement. We need to be playing Australia and Japan at least a couple of times every 2 years or so. Europe is looking out for their own interests and rightfully so. Asia needs to do the same.

That was not what Canadian soccer federation and IFF agreed upon. The visa thing was when govt got involved and wanted to make it as difficult as possible for Iran to hold the game. At that point, Iran was committed due to the contract that they had signed and did not want to get sued. Rightfully so. We ended up not breaking the contract, Canada did and that is why we have a case to pursue now... Given western biases, we are unlikely to successfully get anything out of Canada over breach of contract, but you damn better believe that had we broken the contract, they would have put another $5 million damage claim against IFF...

North America is doing it and last I heard S. America is setting up something. We have zero options going forward. I just don't see AFC having the competency to do this anytime soon.

I'm very reasonable...despite being labeled otherwise. I'll call Skocic out when I feel he is responsible for issues like I did CQ. I'll also provide praise when due i

That is what IFF is saying... There were rumors that Iran will be playing Qatar and one other team during their stay in Qatar, and IFF is denying Iran having lined up a game against Qatar.
