    Iran's Young Prospect - Rankings

In baseball, they have a prospects raking where they rank the best young (under-23) prospects.

I think it would be good for everyone if there was a centralized place where they can review the top Iranian football prospects. As our stars get older, we need players to take over for them, so we can see what the potential is by having this list and if they have someone that will eventually take over for them.

I will change this rankings (on this first post and first page) based on what the general consensus is here i.e. move to Europe, great display at club level etc. I will start with small list and add to it as more names come up.

So here is how I would rank some of them now:

    =========

    Professional Leagues
    1. Allahyar Sayyadmanesh (Hull City - 20 years old winger/foward)
    2. Yasin Salmani (Sepahan - 20 years old midfielder)
    3. Mohammad Mohebi (Santa Clara - 23 years old winger/forward)
    4. Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh (Esteghlal - 21 years old winger/forward)
    5. Saman Fallah (Paykan - 20 years old defender)
    6. Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi (Naft - 17 year old left back)
    7. Younes Delfi (Gorica - 21 years old winger/forward)

    Europe Youth Academy Leagues
    1. Yadegar Rostami (Pogon - 18 years old attacking midfielder)
    2. Amin Doustali (Pogon - 18 years old forward)

    Germany/Bundesliga Youth Academy Leagues
    - Ahmad Bakteari (16 years old Defender - Paderborn U17)
    - Ali Sohani (16 years old Attacking Midfielder - Unterrath U17)
    - Shayan Sadeghi (16 years old attacking midfielder - Borussia Dortmund U16)
    - Imad Jaadar (16 years old Defensive Midfield - SV Wehen U17)
    - Mohammad Amir Mohammadi (17 years old Attacking Midfielder - Norderstedt U19)
    - Ryan Don Naderi (18 years old Striker - Borussia Mönchengladbach U19)
    - Shayan Sarrafyar (18 years old centerback defender - Pr. Münster U19)
    - Kiyan Sadeghi (18 years old centreback defender - Düsseldorf U19)
    - Milad Nejad (17 years old Central Midfield - Hamburg U19)
    - Kian Assadollahi (17 years old midfielder - Vikt. Köln U19)
    - Farid Abdvis Zadeh (16 years old midfielder - Arminia Bielefeld U17)
    - Shahin Biniazz (17 year old winger/forward - Bayer Leverkusen U19)

    =========

Feel free to suggest names so we can add them to the list! I know the rankings are subjective.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

BTW, please no nominations for Hossein Kaebi

Saman Fallah should have been called up to TM by now but somehow Skocic opted for faraji and gholami lol….it’s just sad how bad Skocic is at putting together a well balanced roster.

The guy has retired from football, he isn't even good for emirati football

We will continue to hear about Ghaedi for many years. I think there are members who still consider Ezatolahi a young prospect who is more talented than Azmoun.

I wouldn’t say so now but after the last World Cup I must admit I was excited to see where Ezatolahi would go with his career. Since then there careers have gone in even more opposite directions. I think Ezatolahi will end up being ‘what could he have been’ but I still think he should be starting for our national team and also he is still young enough to prove his doubters wrong. He nust have the determination to do this though.

I was always suspicious of his mentality even before World Cup. Leaving Spain for Russia. Reputation of partying too much. Even Berdyev became disinterested very fast. Why did he need two loans in Russia? Rostov was not Real Madrid or Barcelona where a young player can’t get minutes and needs to go on loan to get experience. Azmoun around the same age was growing and becoming a star in the same team.

In TM, he had a coach like CQ trusting him and giving him clear path to starting role at 18-19. No competition in his position. And there still isn’t unfortunately. He had every opportunity to reach his potential but failed miserably.

Correct me if I’m wrong taremiscores…..but I think the point of this thread is to give coverage of prospects who have not been capped by TM who are not really in the public eye as much/a bit lower profile maybe due to age, playing in a youth set up abroad, etc.

Mohebi doesn’t fit that since he has already been a part for TM a few times and has been capped.

Well Allahyar has been capped too. But this is just to bring spotlight to players who are under-23. I like the baseball model where there is a prospect tracker, so that's what I wanted to emulate.
