Uzbeks were organized and played like a team. Our TM U16 was doing "bezan zeeresh" and direct plays near the end when I watched it. Still a good result with so little preparation.

Not sure about level of opposition but from bit I saw our boys looked pretty organized. Able to play out of the back with good proficiency, patient on the ball, not a lot of bezan ziresh at all. The defenders and CMs look very comfortable on the ball, receiving and passing under pressure. Physically they look quite strong for their age as well. #5 captain (from Foolad I think?) looks like a talented ball playing CB, good passing range and strong. The RB was also quite confident on the ball.
I think level of Foolad, Sepahan, and KIA academies is improving. That good news for iranian football if they form core of our youth setup, each represent a distinct geographic area as well.Comment
