Top 4 + Host (Indonesia) will advance to the WC U20

22. Eligibility of Players
22.1. Each Participating Member Association shall ensure that all players:
22.1.1. are duly registered with the AFC pursuant to these Regulations.
22.1.2. hold the nationality of its country and are subject to its jurisdiction;
22.1.3. were born between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2007; and






Iran U19 does not have a coach and a team since 2020 when Davood Mahabadi resigned.

Selection of U19 coach has not been finalized. It appears technical committee will finalize selection among Motlagh, Marfavi . Peyrovani.

Let's hope IFF make selection promptly unlike U16 selection of a coach 15 days prior to a tournament.

Candidates

Majid Namjo Motlagh , Gholamhossein Peyrovani and Samad Marfav are the options that have presented their program and on Saturday (May 5) after the technical committee meeting, the head coach of the youth football team will be selected.

Technical committees were unable to select U19 coach. Beside Motlagh, Marfavi and Peyrovani they met with Amir Mirzaeian and Mahabadi and they plan to interview more candidates.

Delay of U19 coach selection by technical committee may have other reasons beyond technical.

There is a report that selection of technical committee by Majedi may have not been authorized by BD members,

IFF youth Committee is searching and intervewing several candidat for TM U20
Why not try D Seyed Abbasi
He played for Persepolis, Esteghlal , Sepahan and TM
This season his team Shahrekhoro relegated , He join the team when in very bad situation and was unable to save it but did well with what he had.
He is better than other candidates.
He has one more game to play against Foulad in Dastgerdi and his contract will end.
His team unfortunately will lose tomorrow.

Milad Kor, M Amin Hazbavi, Yadegar Rostami.

List of 70-80 players will be provided to U20 coach when appointed and he will decide to select his best 32 players .

There are good and talented players in this age group and IFF youth committee need to appoint a coach and begin training.
