Not sure how we played. I caught a bit of the first half and we played well but Kyrgyzstan was well drilled and a good defensive unit.

Excellent victory for Iran's under-19 team. Although it was exciting and competitive, Iran was stronger side for the majority of the game.
The Marfavi game strategy was successful, and most players stuck to it.
Making Pilali the small but fast defender at LB while benching two other LB on the list was a wise move by Marfavi.
Milad Kor addition worked well.
Next up is Brunei.

Iran U19 will face Desperate UAE U19 in the final game of Group J for the 2023 Qualkification U20 Championship in Uzbekistan tomorrow.


Iran U19 is the better team in Group J and is expected to beat UAE. With a draw, Iran would also qualify as group leader, but advancing to the next round may be difficult, depending on the results of other groups if they lose.


Marfavi rested the entire offensive line for this game, and there aren't expected to be many changes from the starting lineup against Kyrgyzstan.
Both teams have seen and analyzed each other's games, and the coaches' game plans and strategies will be crucial.
