On August 5 in Dushanbe, Iran U19 will take on Uzbekistan U19.
The championship was won by Iran the previous 2019 games after they defeated Uzbekistan and drew with the host nation Tajikistan.
Iran defeated Uzbekistan 2-0 thanks to goals from Hasheminejad and Zavari.
Four years later, Uzbekistan exacted retribution when the majority of the players from both teams transferred to their respective U23 squads.

Iran's U19 team and coach had been mia since the previous games, and Marfavi was only recently chosen by IFF. This is their first and most crucial international match.

In contrast to Iran, Uzbekistan's team has long been around and has participated in numerous international competitions, and the odds are in their favor.

The Iran U19 team has a number of talented and hopeful players, and we hope they can shine and show off their abilities.
Iran's future stars will be on display at the CAFA title game.






The U19 left for Tashkent on August 2, however IFF did not publish the whole list.
In the official picture, Hazbavi (C) is with the team. Hazbavi, a 19-year-old who played in a U21 match versus Persepolis and was scheduled to travel to Konya, appears to have joined the U19 team.
Omarali Rahmanalive, a talented MF player who also plays for their U20 squad, is the Uzbekistan U19 team's captain.

The Uzbekistan U-20 team, coached by Ravshan Haydarov, will compete in the international competition alongside the U-20 teams from Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil.


The matches are set to take place in Maldonado, Uruguay on September 6, 8, and 10.

Iran U19 will take on a formidable opponent in Uzbekistan U19 in around 14 hours.


Iran should have a strong defense based on talents because there are several unknowable and difficult to foresee defense lines. Iran's defensive line cannot afford any errors because Uzbekistan's strength is their consistency and passing game. The quality of Iran's defensive line will determine whether they win or lose.

Mohammad Amin Hazbavi is the U-19 captain of Iran, with Sgarafi and Saharkhizan coming in second and third. Hazbavi began playing at the age of 10 for Foulad and has played for the Iran's U15, U17, U19, and U23 teams.


Hazbavi hardly gets the chance to start with Nekonam serving as the Fould coach. Hopefully, his experience will help U19 in CAFA tournaments.

Farhad Zavooshi started out with FCKia U15 before moving to Esteghlal and eventually joining Havadar.

He is a talented and hard-working midfielder who will serve as the offensive MF today.
