They were losing 1-0 and then conceded another one in the 75th minute to go down 2-0. Pulled one back in 86th and another in 90th... I have only been watching the last 20 minutes and it is a beautiful game.

It was a mistake to use CB Sadipour as the LB. He's never played as an LB on the field.


*- Against a quick team, Iran's U-19 team faces difficulty.
* The accuracy of the passes was low.
*-U19 players suffered excessive 1X1 losses
*-The fullbacks were slow.
It wasn't a bad result against a good Uzbekistan team for the U19 team's debut international match.

To come back in the last 5 minutes from an 0-2 deficit and equalize is the epitome of "Never give up". These lads fought till the last minute. Kudos!

The penalty by TM was the best I have seen in a long time. It was gutsy to go for the that top corner with inches to spare, but no goalie in the world could stop that!

Respect to our Uzbek brothers who are always showing exciting football at every level (their goals were fantastic). Shame they have never qualified for the world cup. With the new WC format coming up, at least they'll get a shot, and may surprise some teams!

Despite playing better and creating more scoring opportunities they failed to score. Uzbekistan was the superior team.

Uzbekistan primarily used a B team, but in the second half they went all out.

Kysgyzstan put up a good fight, was tenacious in its defense, and will be a formidable opponent for Iran's U-19 team. Iran has achance and hope of winning the tournament if they win the remaining games after Uzbekistan lost two point.

Moamelegari, Seifi, or Pilali were used as LB during the four practice games, but Sadipour—a capable CB but sluggish for the position—never played there. Seifi would be a preferable option, even if Moamelegari was ill. First-half pressure from Uzbekistan was so severe that Marfavi eventually switched Sadipour for Seifi.

We'll watch to see what he does in the following 3 games.
