Ghorbani looks like another solid FWD talent. Great close control, solid physique, strong shooting technique.

He was star for Kia for many years. Top scorer in multiple international youth tournaments. Actually trialled/trained with Bayern and Hamburg.

Dribbling instead of passing, bad passes and controls, wild and unnecessary tackles.. All these are in the DNA of the Iranian football.

How a country so passsionnate by football with easy access to the best games of the world everyday can be lacking all these basics??

It's difficult to say that a team played well when they need to win yet are trailing after 96 minutes.
No, Iran's U19 team played poorly for about 60 minutes, with players consistently making costly mistakes .The first half's U19 game plan was ineffective, and players who insisted on doing individual work made team's offensive ineffective.


Since they were behind and needed to win, the coach should have switched to 4-1-3-2 at the start of the second half. Change arrived late, and some individuals wasted their limited opportunities they had .
Teams should have an attacking game plan for these types of tournaments from the get-go; a defensive game plan is not the best course of action when winning is essential.

The CB player Pilali U19, who tied the game in the waning seconds with a crucial goal, is a solid, dependable player with good technique. He had a strong performance this year for FCKIA in League 3. He faced pressure the last three games as RB Ranjbar's advancement.
The majority of the U19 attack throughout the last three games was generated from the right side with RB Ranjbar's advancement. When Ranjbar is slow to recover, Pilali is under pressure, and a few of the goals were allowed from the zone.
