He lacks the charisma needed to get away with that kind of behaviour.

Look at their performance vs US...players were looking like they would rather sabotage him than put in a good performance, or even if they didn't intend foul play looked incredibly unmotivated for such a crucial, high visibility, prep game.

In such situations the entire team cannot be changed, the coach must be. Even if it is inconvenient or not ideal so close to a WC.

A change to CQ is the only sensible move left to improve our chances of a semi-respectable WC display..!
& if IFF can’t get him on board asap(b4 friendlies) they are better off keeping SKo ..!

I think the Algeria and Japan performances in World Cup 2014 and 2018 respectively should be proof for any player to respect him.
Yeah he wasn’t head coach in 2018 but that was his Japan team.

Have a Moroccan work colleague. He said fans and players were not happy with Vahid overall result as he lacked consistency but i agree he is a decent candidate with lots of experience. But yeah seems like he lost the room with Morocco also.

Bro look at this, morocco has so much talent, they have so much flair , they’re so flashy but they still lost against US, we didn’t have their flash we didn’t have the talent we didn’t have there flare but we still beat them , why because we were organized discipline and we stuck to the game plan and we handled the pressure well and we were able to move minute by minute and control the flow of the game , and after a while they just did not know what to do anymore ,

Vahid in one of his conferences in Rabat said the same thing he said look this team has so much talent but they have no control over the talent with great power comes great responsibility he said I’m going to make this team more disciplined more controlled and able to dictate to play and game and control the game instead of just playing up and down and losing control of the game and, the players revolted they revolted they didn’t want to be under discipline they didn’t want to be under like a system they just wanted to do whatever they wanna do that’s why morocco is the biggest underachiever ever look at the talent they have and look how they play and they still couldn’t get results


We are the opposite situation we need massive discipline we need massive structure we need a strong game plan for us to get any results that’s why somebody likes skocic doesn’t work for us everything falls apart with a coach like that

Thanks for that bit of news but to be clear, it is irrelevant what any of us think...we have no say in the matter.

Mehdi Taj does not think it is too late and that is why he floated the idea.

This week is the first opportunity to perhaps know whether he is serious or not.

Sajjadi, the IR sports minister gave an interview today that indicated:

1. No person has been implicated to have been at fault for Wilmouts file. He is speaking of why Taj could not have been disqualified as a candidate, at least in so far as his ministry is concerned.

2. IFF will be deciding whether to part with Skocic or not. The minister has his own views and will share them once consulted. He said he thinks stability is important this close to the tournament.

3. Regarding CQ, he said that the matter has a halo of obscurity and he is not informed.
