Discipline is key to organization. Skocic did the right thing. They will be called up again but the punishment warrants the crime.

No one or club is above TM. Playing in TM is a privilege not a right. Good on Skocic. Iron out disciplinary issues asap rather than take them to WC.

This is least on Sarkar Skocic. He doesn't schedule league or cancel approved friendlies. This is completely on IFF, IPL, and Majidis lack of commonsense, badgholi, and disrespect of TM...players follow behind Majidi for not communicating intentions and showing up late to invitation.

The Skocic hate is unreal.

TM invitation was done by IFF, so was scheduling of W30. What's your point?

Let's go back to South Africa camp before WC14 and Sepahan situation.
If you remember they were still involved with ACL and CQ was fighting with Kranjcar over TM players.
He basically told Kranjcar if you use TM-players in ACL they will be crossed of the list. Sepahan didn't qualify for KO-stages that year so it didn't become a big issue.

Now if Skocic said something like that in media and Majidi still used the 5 players, then it's another story.
But he didn't, so Esteghlal/the players are not to blame here.

Our squad isn't really as good as i thought, half of the players are useless......especially the Esteghlal ones who got cut and the players who were invited instead.

He is pretty much involved in all the decisions IFF takes.
Just look at the recent Canada friendly disaster.

He wanted it so badly so he agreed on 5 June effectively eliminating our chance of having a friendly on 2 June.
Flying all the way to Canada also meant trouble because we had to find other teams willing to play there, just to make the trip worth it.

It was a stupid decision and Skocic is not getting away with his involvement in this disaster. The Skocic praise is unreal.

The only thing i remember reading is that they got permission to attend the ceremony after the game. Nothing about the game itself.
Can you show any reliable article( before the game) where IFF are saying the 5 players were not allowed to play?

You speculate much. Any shred of evidence what you are saying is true? Half the Skocic haters call him a yes man who makes no decisions or efforts...the other half calla him the only man making all the decisions. We all praised the Canada match as a coup for IFF and a perfect friendly. Canada chose to cancel it not Skocic.
