Thanks for the update. Something about this Uruguay game seems fishy and like a bomb waiting to explode. If it’s truly about details in the contract being updated it should have been addressed a long time ago when IFF sent over the contract. Idk how I feel about us pursuing this any longer….smells like Canada 2.0

Would not be surprised if pressure is being applied to the Uruguayan side to cancel.

Even a contract is meaningless now a days. Iran and Canada had a signed and sealed contract, and look what happened there.

Only reason Senegal seems to be happening is they have better relations (relatively) with Iran.

Before the World Cup kicks off, the Russian Football Federation recommends that a friendly game be conducted between the two football teams.

"The two federations should get together to decide on the date of the friendly game. We advise participating in Qatar. We are prepared to extend an invitation to play in Russia to the Iranian national squad. FIFA was informed that they had consented to participate by us as well."

Iran's sport minister, Sajjadi, responded to the Russian idea by saying, "I think the football federations of the two nations may select where the friendly game would be played."

Russia keeps asking for this. It is not a good idea. Will cause TM to be suspended.
